It's a mess for sure. This is a bad time to be ordering anything. Ordered 2 small items for my boat. The second item which I ordered 2 days after the first got here first besides comes the furthest distance. I did a notice on ebay that I have not received the item. Tracking showed it at a main hub for nearly a week. The seller email me back that it has moved and it's headed my way. Strange my tracking didn't show that. Don't think I will order anything anytime soon.

The outfits you listed were top notch in their day. I had a bunch of Skyline rods. I hated it when they went out of business. Everyone one wanted an Ambassadeur 5500C. Yea, all are outdated and there are lot better rods and reels but you can still fish with what you got.

Most of my jigs has some chartreuse in it. I also have chartreuse in a spinner bait.

I have been fishing Falcon rods since the 90's, still using 3 of the orginal Lowriders. I have some Buccos and hate they are no longer made in US but I think they are the best bang for the buck.

If you ask 30 people for recommendations for a rods and reels, you will get 30 different answers. Although not as personal, I would rather get a gift card and I can pick the rods and reels I want.

Use size 30 Pfleuger. Perfect size for me.

I have used PP for years. I use the 10# test on my spinning outfits and 50# test on my frog/jig rod. There may be some braid better, but I haven't had any trouble with PP.

Hate to hear this, I have 4 Pfluegers, 3 are the XT Supreme and one is the limited edition President, all great reels. I wonder if the XT Supreme is still quality reel? I am looking at getting one more but might have to look at the Diawa,s

I wouldn't get caught up in the different shapes and sizes. For that matter, color. Gerald Swindle said if he used a brown jig, he would use a black trailer, if he used a black jig, he would use a brown trailer. Don't think he was completely telling the truth but you get the message. Try it and see what the fish want.

I use to use FC for all my cranking, I used fiberglass rods then. I am going to try mono now that I changed to graphite rods. I will use 20# test Sunline Natural for shallow and 12# for deeper cranks.

I got a few left. I put it in front of a Crazy Shad when bass are schooling on top, catch 2 at a time.

I only throw 3 colors, semi clear (we don't have clear) I use green pumpkin, stain to muddy I use Junebug. When I can't decide between June Bug or Green Pumpkin, I throw PBJ.

Never had a problem with TW, also got my tracking #. I think they do a great job considering the number of orders they get and the condition we are in.
