Favorite Sub $200 Crankbait Rod
I throw cranks probably 80% of the time. Before last year I used the Lew's David Fritts rod but I wanted something lighter. Bought the Daiwa Tatula Elite Randy Howell rod and love it. It is rated a ML but seems a little stouter. I had very few fish come unlooked.

Daiwa Tatula Rod
Looking at a Daiwa Tatula Rod primary for plastic fishing. The 7'1" med heavy has a xfast action which I have never used before, always used a fast action. Anyone use a xfast action for plastic. For the most part I think it would be a great rod but just wanted some assurance from those who used the xfast. Any disadavatages?? I primary fish docks and rip rap.

Tatula Reels
Last year I got a Tatula 100, ended up with 7 of them. Great little reel. I don't throw anything over 1/2oz so I don't know how they would do with heavier baits. I found them for $123 which was a great price for a Tatula.
