  1. Same here, waiting for a sale on Dobyns.
  2. Daiwa, Lew's, Falcon, Dobyns and 1 Charlie Brewer fiberglass slider rod.
  3. I throw cranks probably 80% of the time. Before last year I used the Lew's David Fritts rod but I wanted something lighter. Bought the Daiwa Tatula Elite Randy Howell rod and love it. It is rated a ML but seems a little stouter. I had very few fish come unlooked.
  4. Wish you would tell them to make the old style color Junebug.
  5. Never did real good withRobo worms but I do great with the ZMan finess worm, go figure.
  6. Looking at a Daiwa Tatula Rod primary for plastic fishing. The 7'1" med heavy has a xfast action which I have never used before, always used a fast action. Anyone use a xfast action for plastic. For the most part I think it would be a great rod but just wanted some assurance from those who used the xfast. Any disadavatages?? I primary fish docks and rip rap.
  7. Don't care what the package looks like as long as the Senkos are the same.
  8. Same here but in colors of chart,/blue back and chart/black back. Actually I have caught bass all year long on the Frittside, it's not just for cold water.
  9. In my state MS, seniors get a great discount, free!!! If you are under 16 or over 65 you pay nothing.
  10. I was looking at that same seat last night, haven't pulled the trigger yet.
  11. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
  12. I have 2 rods, one is a ML Daiwa Tatula rod for cranks down to 10 ft and a Daiwa Tatula MH for anything else.
  13. I made mine out of wood, total cost of about $30-$35. Have it on for about 5 years and still good as new. The cut out is for the trailer jack to fold up.
  14. Does anyone read the package that the Z Man plastics come in. It says CAUTION, do not store Elaztec other than the original bags they come in.
  15. What do you think about those FX rods. Thinking about getting a couple.
  16. Last year I got a Tatula 100, ended up with 7 of them. Great little reel. I don't throw anything over 1/2oz so I don't know how they would do with heavier baits. I found them for $123 which was a great price for a Tatula.
  17. Old Smithwick stills sees action!!
  18. Probably so, I should start using them again.
  19. I still have some Wing Dings from the 80's I think. They were pretty popular around that time on Ross Barnett. I
  20. @Catt Bob Ponds from Mississippi invented the Wing Ding in 1969.
  21. +1 except ours was called the Wing Ding.
  22. Pico Perch Pinfish Bayou Boogie
  23. That is the Daiwa rod I was considering.
  24. What worm/jig rod you using, I may be in the market for one this summer. Right now I leaning on a Falcon or Daiwa.
