  1. I have watched BASS since the 70's been to 5 Classics. I prefer to watch MLF over BASS. I still watch both but when both are on, I will watch MLF, which not a dink fest.
  2. I have a bunch of color chatterbait but 80% of the time it is going to be chartreuse/white just like my spinnerbaits.
  3. I don't know if they are much different from any other flatside but the Frittside caught me a bunch of fish all year long last year. Probably my number 2 crank.
  4. As a old guy (71) I have learned to pay no attention with people's bashing. Keep on, keep on, Love your post and advise. Your are truly a stick and don't let anyone tell you any different.
  5. I'll take single Colorado in the Spring, of course my reservoir is muddy to stain till late spring.
  6. Set it and forget it, never had any problems with the drag not working.
  7. I believe it is the 953, that the color I used all last summer. I have about 6 packs on my wall and 2 in the boat, great color.
  8. Bandit 100
  9. Did the same unfortunately it was after breaking 2 rods. ☹️
  10. I am thinking of getting the Ultimate Bunks. I know you got the reinforced ones, have you had any issue of sagging in the middle. Like yours, my trailer supports are 8-9 feet apart.
  11. I use primary 11 foot jig poles made by B&M and Lews. I use a small spinning reel or a underspin on them with 6# test. I like the stand tube jig along with the Charlie Brewer grubs. My all time best jig is a solid pink hair jig made by Slater jigs,
  12. For me the Frittside is the best bait that has come out in years!! Don't tell anybody but they are a year around bait!! ?
  13. I have got Daiwa Tatulas, Dobyns, Sierra 703 and 704, great combination. I will probably try the Kaden Series sometimes in the near future.
  14. My 2 cycle oil for my boat went up $6.00 a gallon. Was $30, now $36.
  15. I throw about 4 crankbait colors and 2 worm colors for the most part, don't care what season it is.
  16. Never thought of using spreads sheets, too old to start now!!
  17. So does this mean that Yamamoto is coming out with the new old Junebug or do we have to get some from Nixon? ?
  18. Wish Yamamoto Senkos came in true Junebug. Maybe the new owners will change it. Junebug is my most used plastic bait color.
  19. Been using Sunline Sniper for a looong time. Use the Double San Diego jam knot, I learned it as the Jimmy Houston knot in the 80's, never has a knob to turn loose or break at the knot.
  20. Same here, waiting for a sale on Dobyns.
  21. Daiwa, Lew's, Falcon, Dobyns and 1 Charlie Brewer fiberglass slider rod.
  22. I throw cranks probably 80% of the time. Before last year I used the Lew's David Fritts rod but I wanted something lighter. Bought the Daiwa Tatula Elite Randy Howell rod and love it. It is rated a ML but seems a little stouter. I had very few fish come unlooked.
  23. Wish you would tell them to make the old style color Junebug.
  24. Never did real good withRobo worms but I do great with the ZMan finess worm, go figure.
  25. Looking at a Daiwa Tatula Rod primary for plastic fishing. The 7'1" med heavy has a xfast action which I have never used before, always used a fast action. Anyone use a xfast action for plastic. For the most part I think it would be a great rod but just wanted some assurance from those who used the xfast. Any disadavatages?? I primary fish docks and rip rap.
