  1. Thanks for the video, I am going to have to try it, looks good!!
  2. I use Jades Jigs and also Z Mans Ned Lock. I think any hook will rust out if left long enough. I still use glue on all of mine. https://jadesjigs.com/
  3. Well I got my answer from Tackle Warehouse, they haven't had any issues with Sunline and they think the line will be ok to use, answer I really expected. I wrote a letter to Sunline Warranty Dept to see what they say. I did send about 10 feet of the line for their inspection, interesting to see what they think!!
  4. The whole spool is like that. I contacted Tackle Warehouse to see what they will do.
  5. Finally got to change out on my reels. Bought the line Black Friday but just now getting around to change it. I respool 3 reels before I realized the line felt kinked or really rough. Bought the 660 yd spool. I compared it to a spool of the same I had the year before. The old line was really smooth like it should be. Anyone who has bought a resent spool of Sniper, is yours slick or rough/kinked feeling. I am wondering now if it has lost some of its strength? Would you trust it? SEE MY UP DATE BELOW!!
  6. I have watched BASS since the 70's been to 5 Classics. I prefer to watch MLF over BASS. I still watch both but when both are on, I will watch MLF, which not a dink fest.
  7. I have a bunch of color chatterbait but 80% of the time it is going to be chartreuse/white just like my spinnerbaits.
  8. I don't know if they are much different from any other flatside but the Frittside caught me a bunch of fish all year long last year. Probably my number 2 crank.
  9. As a old guy (71) I have learned to pay no attention with people's bashing. Keep on, keep on, Love your post and advise. Your are truly a stick and don't let anyone tell you any different.
  10. I'll take single Colorado in the Spring, of course my reservoir is muddy to stain till late spring.
  11. Set it and forget it, never had any problems with the drag not working.
  12. I believe it is the 953, that the color I used all last summer. I have about 6 packs on my wall and 2 in the boat, great color.
  13. Bandit 100
  14. Did the same unfortunately it was after breaking 2 rods. ☹️
  15. I am thinking of getting the Ultimate Bunks. I know you got the reinforced ones, have you had any issue of sagging in the middle. Like yours, my trailer supports are 8-9 feet apart.
  16. I use primary 11 foot jig poles made by B&M and Lews. I use a small spinning reel or a underspin on them with 6# test. I like the stand tube jig along with the Charlie Brewer grubs. My all time best jig is a solid pink hair jig made by Slater jigs,
  17. For me the Frittside is the best bait that has come out in years!! Don't tell anybody but they are a year around bait!! ?
  18. I have got Daiwa Tatulas, Dobyns, Sierra 703 and 704, great combination. I will probably try the Kaden Series sometimes in the near future.
  19. My 2 cycle oil for my boat went up $6.00 a gallon. Was $30, now $36.
  20. I throw about 4 crankbait colors and 2 worm colors for the most part, don't care what season it is.
  21. Never thought of using spreads sheets, too old to start now!!
  22. So does this mean that Yamamoto is coming out with the new old Junebug or do we have to get some from Nixon? ?
  23. Wish Yamamoto Senkos came in true Junebug. Maybe the new owners will change it. Junebug is my most used plastic bait color.
  24. Been using Sunline Sniper for a looong time. Use the Double San Diego jam knot, I learned it as the Jimmy Houston knot in the 80's, never has a knob to turn loose or break at the knot.
