  1. Really enjoy the fight since I do most of my fishing with spinning tackle and 7lb test line.

  8. Don't know if you could mount this in a Yak but it works great in my boat.
  9. What CroakHunter said, you probably working it too fast and trying to put too much action.

  12. The general rule is to go with the lightest you can. If you fish no current, 1/16 is the way to go. With current, go with the 1/10 or 1/6.
  13. I would go with all Bandits in the 100, 200, 300 series. That would cover depths from 1-12 feet. Go with a shad color, craw color, and maybe a chart. color. These are some of the cheapest cranks and they do catch fish.
  14. Better hang on !!!!!!
  15. Amazing what age does to a person, I know what everyone is talking about.

    Good one !!!!
  17. Academy carries a good selection of Costas. As for me, I till take the plastic lens, don't like glass around my eyes.
  18. I would throw the 3.8 with baitcaster, anything smaller with spinning.
  19. I would use the Evinrude oil. No use in taking a chance if you have lower unit trouble. Sell the Mercury lube to some of your fishing buddies.
  20. Down south, we would call that a bream.
  21. I don't think it is bad to keep some fish every so often to eat, I love bass to eat. I like captainbelly release most of the bass I catch. However, at a city lake I fish, the head of the Game and Fish told me to keep my limit every trip. He a told me if I don't want them, to give them to someone else. The lake is out of balance because no one is either fishing it or not keeping their limit. Catch and Release is good but not all the time.
  22. I remember that article, Rick was the best back in his time.
