  1. Use Loctite Super Gel glue, forget the keeper.
  2. Mustad KVD Elite, lost very few fish with these hooks.
  3. I have tried a few cranks but not really impressed. I think I will just stick to my Bandits.
  4. What is winterizing ????
  5. I pronounce it "fish catching worm".
  6. Do what I did with the Simms glove, remove the leather piece and then cut the finger shorter, works great now with a spinning rod.
  7. Always use a trailer, at the very least, a twin tail.
  8. You really have to be careful with Z Man plastic but it is well worth the effort.
  9. I have a Ninja Blade on my TM. This thing works great. I fish some might thick lily pads and it really goes through them. My tm is 55lbs and I can't image what a larger thrust would do. Easy to install, no negatives. I really don't think you will need two but I don't guess it would not hurt.
  10. Monkey Butt here also.
  11. You can get a lemon with any brand, I never had trouble with a Minn Kota.
  12. One thing to check on is if you are running the right recommended plug. My boat was having starting problems. I looked in the manual and found out that I was running a different plug than recommended. I changed out to the right plug and it made a huge difference. When all else fails, read the instructions !!!
  13. When in doubt, set the hook !!!
  14. Congrats, looks great !!!!
  15. I use mono on my cranking reels. I usually change out line twice a year or if it is getting low on the spool. I use Sunline Super Natural.
  16. Mono is the only line I have ever used, did try FC but didn't like it. Like others have said, diameterin of the line is the factor in how deep a crankbait dives. Seems like most people are concern with cranks running deeper. If you want it to run deeper, use a different crank to run the depth you want.
  17. I changed out my Bandit crankbaits to the Mustad KVD Elite hooks, rarely loose a fish. I also use a glass rod with med. action for my shallow running cranks.
  18. So they can sell you different versions. I agree, the rattles are useless.
  19. That's what I use, works great. I mostly use it on the small fish that has been caught with treble hooks.
  20. Very nice, classic boat. Hope you enjoy it.
  21. I am with the 6'6" M/F crowd. I got a Falcon Lowrider that works great for topwater/jerkbait.
  22. Junebug and Green Pumpkin, I figure is they aren't biting these two colors, they are not biting anything else.
  23. Congrats on the boat. I believe $2500 is a great price. Getting it cheaply will allow you to fix the little things and add improvements. Now, go catch some fish.
  24. I have been using Bandits since they came out, still my #1 crankbait. I wait until they are on sale and buy a bunch of them. I will use them at some point.
