  1. No current car projects, but these were previous cars I've owned and customized. My apologies to those that have already seen these pictures. 2003 Techart Type II Porsche. Started out life as a new 2003 C4S. 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago. It was on the cover of July 2006 Modified Luxury & Exotics. Delivery day. First set of mods. Final before I sold it. My old school Spyder. Probably my favorite of all.
  2. Nothing finer than a tuned Pixy, aka Pixzilla.
  3. Fantastic video. Love it guys. California Delta or Clear Lake in 2010?
  4. I ohave specs on one of the rods and reels so far. Looks like the swimbait rod will be the US version of the JDM "Stratofortress". 7'4", 2 piece, 1/2 to 2 oz lure weight, and 16 - 30 lb line weight. The Steez reel is striking with a red spool and black body, similar to the Shimano Core. That offering will be hi - speed, 7.1/1. There's also atleast 2 more Steez rds, one is 6'5", probably US version of The Blitz, and the other is 7'2", which would be the US version of the Steez Wylie Deepstrike. There's also an all red Zillion that will be out, although I have no specs on that reel as of yet.....
  5. I really like my Inshore. More so now that it's modded. I paid alot less than that for it though, on Ebay.
  6. Bazooka is the only way to go. They work well and I've yet to have any issues with damaged rods while travelling outside the country.
  7. Hey guys, anyone here use these little memory cards that come preloaded? Are they any good? I was thinking of getting one for my boat but not sure if they are worth the price, they run about $160.
  8. Congratulations, what a blessing!
  9. So I had the chance to peek at the '09 line up, and from what I saw, things are going to get even better. There are new reels coming out, one with a red spool that looks killer. There's also going to be a Steez Swimbait rod out for 09. Can't wait for ICAST guys.
  10. Amen Ronnie. I'm a tacklye junkie. I think many of these pieces I buy are just cool to look at. I often find myself going out to the garage, hopping int he boat and just diddling with my gear. ...and no I don't make "boat noises" while in the boat.... Bottom line guys, fish don't care what you spent on your tackle either.
  11. Many years ago there was a beer that I loved - Simpatico. but it was short lived. Came in a carboard cart.
  12. It boils down to who helps you. I'm always nice to the check in attendant, and usually get the fee waived. Not always though....
  13. Amstel Light, Coors Light, Tecate, Pacifico, and Modelo.
  14. My point exactly. Closing it for two weeks does NOTHING. Other than aggravate me to no end! AAARGHH!
  15. This really stinks. > Went to Coyote for the afternoon with a buddy, only to find the lake closed til the 23rd. All lakes in the county are closed as well. What the hell does this solve? the lakes will be reopened on the 23rd and an additional $7 charge will be made to inspect your boat.
  16. Cheap stuff has it's place, I'm sure. Don;t know where though...
  17. My favorite workhorse reel. It's not really made for the lighter baits. For that I'd use either a Steez 103 or if you want to get something more exotic in the same price range get your hands on the JDM Zillion HLC.
  18. Several times. You may also want to try www.Ichibantackle.com and www.plat.co.jp
  19. 50?? When was the last time you were here? There's atleast 55 now.
  20. Yup, can't forget Cuba. however the fact that we can not freely travel there (yet) may make it difficult to track. There are so many lakes in CA that have a realistic chance of kicking out a world record. I am pretty sure that she's swimming around as we type.
  21. Maui Jims are hard to beat.
