  1. There was one in the water here in sevierville and the cops showed up and shot it 😂 I appreciated their no nonsense approach
  2. I just always assumed they were mass produced and not fresh by the time they hit the grocery cart. I like eating them while standing next to the vine they came from
  3. no worries, who doesn’t like to see such a fish ? I was just clarifying for WRB since he lives out there and knows all the lakes Extra big
  4. It’s from 2016
  5. I don’t have FFS, don’t even have a depth finder on the front of my boat The only change it has brought to my fishing is I don’t fish on the bottom all the time like I used to. I’ve seen enough tournament footage to have some confidence keeping my bait off the bottom and it works, especially for winter SMB
  6. You really don’t know ?
  7. I have come to forget about the cheek meat on purpose. I can get the big fillets off in under a minute then spend 15 minutes trying to get a 25 cent piece size of meat, I think I burn more calories than the cheeks provide 😂
  8. Looks like green sunfish might have been the interloper
  9. Remember when Alabama rig was the only thing people used with FFS? You can literally see any bait on there, including hard baits . I think it’s just people that don’t like it grasping at straws I can see a 1/16 oz jighead and Bobby garland on my old 2D graph .
  10. It ain’t 1987……. So this fish was caught 8 yrs ago ?
  11. Breaking news: angler also caught @king fisher
  12. Who is this we you speak of ? 😆 we’ve yet to shoot the oil up in my district
  13. After watching that video, everyone else has gone crazy, not you 😆 the loudest voices just can’t help but constantly contradict themselves
  14. They always do every year ……. But everyone forgets 😂 I think the llama got a 5 plus green fish in the same marina two years in a row
  15. I don’t, fish out of hot water taste great. The key is keeping them alive or quickly on ice we eat LM out of a swamp in Alabama yearly with water temps up to 94 and they are absolutely delicious
  16. I’d probably pick walleye but I only catch like 6-8 of them per year. Bluegill is tasty but you’ve got to fillet a thousand of them to fill your belly. Catfish and crappie are always solid. My wife doesn’t like crappie due to the texture, more for me! Catfish in little chunks/nuggets is awesome id rather have a big black bass than any of them, oh the horror!!!!
  17. I’d say that’s it! Everyone entering the Air Force seems to have to start there
  18. My buddy took me for a ride in his new to him boat yesterday after work. Pretty sweet little rig, a river hawk with a 9.9 4 stroke. We floated downstream and picked our way back up river, hitting plenty of rocks to break it in proper. I told him I was coming straight from work in boots so I couldn’t help drag back up thru the rapids so he had to treat me like cleopatra 😂 he got the biggest of the journey, a SMB that hit a deceiver on an 8 wt fly rod i caught lots of little SMB, a rock bass, and a redbreast sunfish
  19. @fin Me? No I only caught it once. Snapped the top pic upon catching and threw it in livewell to take back to campsite and eat it. Got it out of livewell back at camp and my wife and her friend took the bottom picture and let it go takes all the guess work out when you only catch it once and throw it in a box 😂
  20. It takes some fairly in depth sampling and years of trend comparison to actually know if crappie populations are down, not just a quote . Even the data from a true scientific study isn’t 100% accurate or telling, it’s under water after all I’ve lost count of all the things that were going to ruin bass fishing, crappie fishing , trout fishing, over the years. And the fishing just keeps getting better despite humans worrying good habitat= good fishing
  21. Can’t wait to watch, Champlain seems absolutely amazing
  22. Good luck! I’m guessing the Air Force training is somewhere near San Antonio ?
  23. It depends on where you are……
  24. @FryDog62, hahaha! I’ve been in that airport…….
