  1. Spreading disease and bacteria. Everything has its place
  2. I wore good socks with them so not bad at all, granted sweat is a part of life in southern Alabama, even on Christmas 😂 . I’m guessing you’d be fine in Missouri on a rainy day. Then again I’ve seen guys wear similar style boots way out in the ocean off the coast of FLA in bright sunshine.
  3. Got to try these out in the constant gulf thunderstorms of southern Alabama last week, kept my feet dry all week. I could hear the words of Lieutenant Dan echoing in my ears, “take care of your feet!” Not only were they dry but quite comfy and stick to the boat surface well.
  4. I am going to invent a livewell that dispenses ice instead of water and retire. Oh no I’ve said too much…….
  5. Good way to lose some stuff and maybe drown haha
  6. 🎶 The minnow would be lost……. 🎶
  7. There’s always cold beer on middle bass island if all else fails
  8. From what I saw at put in bay Lake Erie, there are no rules 😂
  9. You ain’t right 😂
  10. Silly is better than itchy! I had heard of seed ticks my whole life but never encountered them. They itch like wild but according to most people I talked to (some in the medical industry), the chance of disease transmission with seed ticks is little to none as far as weather, ive always noticed and increase in insect activity after colder winters. Im guessing it is just their natural response to a stressor. We’ve had two exceptionally cold winters the last two years and plenty of bugs. It appears that moisture is the more limiting factor , all bugs require water and we have a never ending supply of that
  11. Recently had an uncle pass and inherited a George jones knife that has a picture of the possum himself on one blade and the phrase “hi tech redneck” on the other blade. Might just leave that one in the box
  12. You sure you aren’t a rodeo clown instead of an umpire? Never seen blue jump a fence
  13. I had a couple hundred seed tick bites on me last summer, couldn’t sleep for about 2 weeks or more. All from a short walk thru the woods to a creek
  14. Four roses keeps all their stuff on the same elevation for the most part. All other distilleries I’ve visited put different barrels on different levels of the store houses to achieve different tastes. Four roses is aiming for consistency from one bottle to the next with their strategy. been there!
  15. They can also make massive holes in your house, ask me how i know…….. nevermind don’t ask, I don’t like thinking about it
  16. I’ve caught them in dead of winter and heat of summer with red eyes. And in fall too
  17. 86 the bullet weight and you are good to go
  18. Nice! Glad the river is healing thru there
  19. Nice green basses!!!
  20. I’ve only fished Alabama River the week of Memorial Day. Beat lures are buzzbaits and jigs for me. The black warrior river is loaded with spots as well, and they like shakey heads quite a bit, late spring can be awesome. Honestly shakey heads seem to be great for them anywhere. Deeper highland lakes with clear water, winter can be the best time
  21. Alabama river, in the mobile drainage in the heart of their native range. Tie yourself to the boat or you may be dragged overboard
