Watching electronics vs. fishing
I never go out without a lure in the water unless I’m paddling too fast to troll or hammered down throttle on plane if I’m watching my graph I’m trolling a plug. Don’t have a graph on front of motor boat and don’t have any graphs on paddling vessels I like reeling in fish way too much to leave my hooks dry

Meals and Recipes
Smoker is fun but does take patience the way I like to do it. Which is stand outside and chop wood as the fire needs it and drink beer a lot of friends have electric smoker, set it and forget it. They have smoked food when they get home from work I have a buddy with a big deep grill you can toss wood into, he just gathers hickory sticks laying around the yard and grills with it , makes delicious hamburgers and hot dogs and doesn’t take long

Middle Tennessee Bass fishing
There are lots of places out there, never heard of that city. After a quick Google search, looks like @Blue Raider Bob might be able to help! Priest, center hill, old hickory, Caney fork would be a good start. If you’ve got time go to dale hollow, it’s amazing

Have the asian carp in Kentucky Lake affected the bass fishing?
Like @Tennessee Boy said, the problems they experienced were a long while back, fishing is good now. There has still never been a single juvenile Asian carp found so they aren’t reproducing. I wouldn’t say the population of carp is growing

Pond Observations
We have a parking garage with drains that are always clogging up at work. I’ve seen plankton swimming around in the resulting puddles, nothing but rain and concrete

Baits in strange places
I found a black and blue plastic worm in somebody’s gutter amongst a pile of raccoon poo……… guessing the raccoon ate it but I suppose a bird could have dropped it onto the roof and it rolled there i used to tie on a plastic worm with no hook and cast a few times in my yard after I re spooled a combo, just to get the line stretched out and limber. I had to quit because cardinals and mocking birds came out of nowhere and attacked the worm , thank goodness I didn’t have a hook on

55-57 degree water temps, need help
I’m usually fishing for white bass at that water temp but I accidentally get some nice black bass amongst them. How big is the lake you’re on, and how fast is it moving ? Got shad in there? Our water is colder than that right now but when it gets going up thru the 50s a lot of fish follow monster pods of shad to the upper reaches of the reservoirs. Spoons, traps, paddle tail soft plastics can be great. Grass, trees, and max depth 17ft? I’d have to try some plastic worms tx rig and weightless as well

New Video: Follow Bass To Transition Banks
You have a trustworthy moustache sorry I’m still cracking up over the weird comments video I definitely like the discussion about transition between the seasons, summer to fall can be tough for me. Late summer is excellent, early fall is typically tough. Then late fall it’s on like donkey Kong also, that prop bait you flashed up on the screen…. What the deuce was that??? Looks like a franken lure we assembled as kids

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Had some lovely weather Sunday, was nice after a cloudy cold skunk on Saturday. My buddies invited me onto their boat and were skunking me again until late in the day when I got the lunker on a nightcrawler. Just under 19” and between 3.13 and 3.17 lbs. The mountains still had snow and loons were swimming around all over the place. Water temp 45
