1. Cost is the issue... Otherwise, the finest fluorocarbon I have fished.
2. If you have a broken rod, the Flooger will match up well as a lure retriever. :o
3. Hmm...Just a glitch, mine all have split rings. I don't think it's a big deal.
4. MS American Shad would be my first color suggestion.
5. Great job Ronnie! I'm already excited about next year. Special thanks to Long Mike for coordinating the trip and to the guys that took me out: GMAN, Big O and Steezy, Fishing Rhino and westerntennessee1. The whole thing started with Gary & Mary's party Saturday night. Uncle Leo and Fred did a great job on the grill Monday night. Tuesday night Steve and Jackie treated everyone to steaks! My only regret is not being able to spend time on the water with everyone. I'm glad we were all able to get together in the evenings. I am looking forward to seeing you all again. -Kent
6. "Fluffy" Thank you! :D
7. Well... I fished with several guys and we all had a blast! Mix and match, we will all have a story to tell. My only regret is not being able to fish with everytone for a day! Thank you all. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior
8. Woo-Hoo! Get a group of friends together for a week and go fishing...Just what the doctor ordered! I think everyone had fun and caught a few fish. We struggled with the weather, but that's just the luck of the draw. We will post pictures later. I hope you will consider joining the group next year, we always have fun. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior :D
9. G. Loomis made it's name with the IMX series rod. Great rods vs. any pricing point. I fish GLX because I like them better and with a little patience, I have purchased several for around $250 on our Flea Market.
10. You still owe me $300 for the ro0m an several bottles of wine! Okay, just a little light-hearted fun...You know my prayers are with you. -Kent
11. Don't know for sure, but bring your own...No issues.
12. More than 5 lbs.
13. Actually, they are cheaper now ($23) than they were originally ($28). I don't think you will be disappointed.
14. On any given day it seems the bass are more focused on bottom creatures or baitfish. That doesn't mean that a lure/bait imitating the "wrong" choice won't work, but another selection might work better. Color may seal the deal, but speed, action, profile and depth are far more important factors.
15. On average my total cost is 1/3 rod, 2/3 reel. The rod may be more important for "catching", but reels make "fishing" fun!
16. Thank you!

e-mail: memphisRW@ yahoo.com

User name: roadwarrior

Password: Jan3189

-Kent
17. Choosing the right equipment is challenging. Even listening to guys you trust, their response is going to vary. We have fans of just about every brand here on BassResource.com. If you want specific advice, you really need to specify a price range. I'm a Shimano guy, so these are my recommendations: Spinning reels: <$100 Symetre >$100 CI4 Baitcasting: ~$100 Citica >$100 Curado
18. Try both of these: P-Line CXX #12 and Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12. Both are inexpensive,
strong and highly resistant to abrassion.
19. Rage Tail Baby Craw Rage Tail Thumper Rage Tail Anaconda Rage Tail Eeliminator GYCB 6" Senko GYCB Keature GYCB Kut Tail Mizmo Grandes Tube
20. The most important consideration is how it compliments your reel. I like white or clear with polished magnesium (Calais, CH50MG) and gold (CTE200GT); green on dull silver (STX) and purple smoke on black (Core). For the Stella, anything but green! :
