  1. Tip is just like a restaurant, 10-20%.
  2. Geez... So someone made a mistake. You haven't been screwed. Call customer service. I'm sure you can get this resolved. This thread is closed. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator

  4. Single-tail grub on a jig head. 8-)
  5. Put them up for sale in the Flea Market. We have plenty of Rage Tail fans. Offer the lot with a reasonable discount and they will sell immediately. -Kent 8-)
  6. CONGRATULATIONS!
  7. Centrifugal brakes make casting easier. Magnetic brakes make it harder. :
  8. Maybe this will help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1141187546 Specifically: Technique specific rods are for "enthusiasts". Almost all your fishing can be done with just one rod. Beyond that, you only "need" three rods: Spinning: 6 1/2' or 7', M or MH, Fast Action (soft plastics and light lures) Baitcasting: MH or H, Fast Action (jigs, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and all single hooks) Baitcasting: MH, Moderate Action (all treble hook lures) Here is another thread currently running with specific recommendations: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1267390133

  10. Don't matter where yer from...that's funny! ;D ;D ;D ;D
  11. Crappie hooks on a split shot rig are perfect if you are fishing baby craws, their favorite meal! -Kent
  12. For light and/or shallow running lures, I don't think the lower gear ratio is that important. Sometimes you want to burn a lipless crank! For deep diving lures (DD22/ Mann's 20+/ DT16) I recommend the Shimano CTE200GT. Otherwise, the Calais is an excellent choice. 8-)
  13. Wow! That's surprising, I fish the jig head with and without a skirt. It's a favorite of mine. 8-)
  14. Every Sunday there are 23 cars used for filler. What difference does it make if one of those cars is driven by a women? They usually get out of the way. Dancia can do that, too. :-X
  15. Weightless soft plastics, dropshot, jerkbaits at night and split shotting live baits. 8-)

  17. For most crankbaits and especially lipless lures, Avid AVC70MM. For bigger lures and deep divers, Lamiglas SR705R. 8-)
  18. Geez...I hope someone from BPS sees this thread. Cutomer satisfaction can be so simple. In this case nothing more than a raincheck: Happy campers and the company makes another sale. What's so hard 'bout that?
  19. The Rapala HJ12 is probably what you bought: http://www.rapala.com/products/lures/husky_jerk/ This is a very effective lure, but does not cast or suspend as well as the LC Pointer. Here are the XCalibur Twitch Baits: http://www.excaliburlures.com/twitch.asp 8-)
  20. I hope The Crew can make it to Pickwick! 8-)
  21. I hope you two can make it to Pickwick. -Kent
  22. Both Hybrid and Hybrid Ultra Soft float. Abrasion resistance is comparable to XT, Big Game and P-Line CXX. I fish the "Rocks From Hell" on the Tennessee River without any issues. 8-)
  23. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  24. If you are looking for "The One", try the XCalibur Xr50, Chrome Blue/ Orange. http://www.xcaliburtackle.com/rattle.asp :
