  1. I use the Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw or Twin Tale Grub most of the time for jigs in that size range.
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  3. They run our license year from March 1st to February 28/29 the following year. A fishing license here is $23.00. I get the seniors license for $12.00. It includes trout stamp, deer, turkey, and other permits.

Crankbaits: Bandit 200 - Norman Middle N. Spinnerbait: War Eagle Screamin Eagle. Topwater: Rebel Pop R. Worms: Zoom U Tale - Ultra Vibe Speed Worm. Creatures: Zoom Baby Brush Hog - Ultra Vibe Speed Craw.
  5. I haven't used any green line for a while. When I did I thought my catch rate was just as good or better than clear line when used with crank baits and spinner baits. Years ago then even had a gold line. I got a spool by mistake but I still caught plenty of fish with it.

Hope you've had a very Merry Christmas and have a much better 2022.
  7. Hope all the Bass Resource community has a very safe and joyful Merry Christmas.
  8. My tackle box weighed in at 17.8 pounds. I also have a separate box with suspending jerk baits. Another one for shaky head and dropshots. I don't even want to think about how much weight I have in soft plastics.
  9. I struggle with all this technology. There are many things I don't know how to do on the computer. We even got new android smart phones earlier this year. I can make a call or answer a call with it. I thought I was really doing good when I finally sent a text message with it. Someday I will push my luck and try to send another one.
  10. I would have to split it up. Somewhere up north for SMB fishing in the warmer weather. Then go to either Florida, Texas, or Mexico in the winter for LMB fishing.
  11. Sometimes it doesn't take much to make someone's day. Good move on your part to be helpful.
  12. Very good and generous move on your part. Not many people willing to do that anymore.
  13. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  14. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  15. Happy birthday to @jbsoonerfan and @Catt. I have @jbsoonerfan beat by 28 years and @Catt by one year. Hope the young snot nosed brat and the old timer both have good birthdays.
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  17. For crankbaits red and firetiger have been disappointments. I have caught a few on firetiger. The only red crankbait I ever caught a fish with is an old Model A bomber. I don't think they make that color anymore. Plum, black with red flake, and watermelon red have been my biggest disappointment in soft plastics. Green pumpkin in jigs hasn't done a thing for me. I have much better luck with black/blue and PBJ color jigs.
  18. I had a Little George when they first came. Best I can remember it didn't take long to get it hung up and lose it. This is the only tail spinner I ever had. I never bought another one.
  19. I just hope your head doesn't swell up so big your new wife can't fit in the house.
  20. Now we have two moderators in Tennessee. The forum will go down hill in a hurry now. LOL. Congratulations @TnRiver46.
  21. I have thee BPS Crankin Sticks 6' M. The wife uses one of them. I normally only have one with me. I will use it for any crankbait I use. It doesn't matter if it is a squarebill, deep diver, or a lipless bait. The only time I bring two of them is to put a crankbait on one and a suspending jerk bait on the other one.
  22. I have seen so many stories on here about Elaztech and other plastics having problems when stored together I won't but any Elaztech baits. From what I have seen and heard the only safe way to store them is in their original packaging.
  23. It doesn't matter if I'm using a baitcaster or spinning setup. I cast right handed and switch the rod to my left hand and reel right handed. I have been doing that way for so long I'm not about to change now.
  24. I have been a tackleholic. I have more stuff than I can ever use. Now I only buy what I really need. The only thing that bothers me now is some of my favorite Zoom soft plastic colors are no longer in production. I will use up what I have and hope I can find a good replacement color.
  25. I also like black/blue jigs. For soft plastics I will take junebug any day over black/ blue.
