I would go to the fuse panel. I had the same problem with a much older unit staying on. Once I got in to it I found the problem was a bad connection with the terminal that was crimped on to the end of the wire. I have also seen on some units they will turn off if the battery voltage drops too low. I would think the newer ones would be the same way.

I have fished Zoom Fat Albert grubs on a Texas rig. I use a 1/0 Skip Gap hook with an 1/8 ounce sinker and never had a problem with fish swallowing it.

Hoping to survive knee surgeries and be back in good enough shape to be able to fish next spring.

Hope it's not anything serious and you will be okay. Once I have my knee surgery Wednesday it would be bad for both of us to be sitting on the sidelines while everybody else is catching them for us.

I know I have a tough road ahead. I believe they will send a physical therapist to the house for a while then I will have to go to a physical therapy center a few times a week. I have been told they are a lot of things I will have to learn different ways of doing them. Thank you to all of you for the well wishes.

Unfortunately I am done fishing for the year. I go in next week to have knee replacement surgery. If all goes well with this one the doctor said he would do the other one in about 6 weeks. I just hope it doesn't take me out of the fishing game permanently. You all have fun, enjoy your fishing and catch some for me.

We are in the same shape as @The Bassman. No rain in over three weeks and daily high temps have been in the low to mid 90s almost every day. Went fishing on a creek the other day. The water had so much algae and leaves piling up it wasn't fishable in a lot of areas. Finally got in to some cleaner water but still didn't catch much.

Where do you get these walkers? I'm almost to the point of needing one.

Choice of rod length depends on how you are fishing. Some of us either don't want to stand up and fish out of a boat or are not physically able to stand up and fish. I am one of them. This is why I chose the 6' rods. I didn't even own a 6'6" rod till about 4 years ago. For me casting anything any longer I think would be awkward. Like @Paul Roberts I am also old and have used the short rods all my life. I'm not going to change now.

I use a 6 gallon 3HP Shop Vac brand.

For vacuuming I use a small shop vac. I have used Tough Stuff automotive cleaner or Simple Green at times to clean the carpet. I need to give my carpet a good cleaning now.

I don't follow FLW real close. I am not sure what division he is fishing but I have seen his name listed in the tournament standings on some of them.

Rick Clunn is still in the elite series. Roland Martin is fishing the F.L.W. tournaments.

I wouldn't bet on it. I really like the Bionic Blades and the old Pro Qualifier rods and have several of them. They are so wrapped up in thinking the long rods are all anybody wants they forget us guys that still like the shorter rods.

I checked the BPS website today. They no longer have a 5'6" Bionic Blade rod listed. I won't be buying anymore of them. They ruined them with the split grip handle as far as I'm concerned. I still use pistol grip rods in 6' for crank baits, spinner baits, and top water baits.

I have a 5'6" Bionic Blade that I haven't used in years but I don't throw topwaters as much as I should. I agree it is a good rod for these type baits. I guess I need to get mine out and start using it again.

Went fishing the other day and the bite was very slow. Manged to catch two small ones on a Swim Senko. Had a few other bites I missed or the were bream nipping at the bait. Water temp is still low to mid 80s.
