Seems the big stores are catering more to amatuers ,I was in a walmart 15 yrs ago that had a array of all star rods ,then agian it depends where u go also for lures my Walmart has nothing compared to the walmart in Fredrickburg Virginia and my K mart is a joke

I have 3 of them 2 size 30,s and a size 20 the biggers ones i use for saltwater for 3 yrs now they still work like brand new They are made of aluminum and have the best anti reverse i have seen on a spinning reel they lay line perfect also and there drag is smooth and wobble free i use my size 20 for bass fishing no problems at all .if you look on ebay u can find um brand new in box for 30 bucks .IMO they are the best reel you can get under 50 bucks

Ya its made in USA i assume worth a lot of money in about 20 yrs who knows u might be able to retire sellin it then 8-)

One big bass hardly means anything,, consistancy wise and it wasnt all that big anyhow ,ill stick with my Manns augertails .I have caught 1 or 2 6 pound bass with beetle spins in 15 yrs it didnt make me think HEY i got me a consistant lure that catches big bass

I been reading a few threads about the L and T rods breaking .Any rod can break but all stars have a lifetime warrenty .I have some AS rods and i like um they aint new ones though .From what i have read about the L& T rods they should change to Light and touchy

Yall notice big game in 15 lb is .015 and big game in 12lb is .014 .I dont see a reason for 15 lb big game BTW my 10 lb biggame measures at .012 .funny how so little diff can make a big diff in bulk spool yards 15 lb biggame comes in 900 yard spools 12 lb comes in 1175 yrds and 10 lb comes in 1500 yard spools all the same price ...

if your going to 8 lb i suggest u use a true 8 lb diameter line most 8 lb lines on the market are .010 or .011 .That said try 8 lb sensation if not 6 lb will be fine OR try 6 lb yo zuri hybrid soft it seems like a great line aint tried it yet but im going too
