I run a 1000 on my Mojo 610 MLXF for Ned, Dropshot, Neko...the 26"IPT seems about perfect for the application. The difference between the 2000S and the 2000SHG is retrieve speed, with the HG being a 6:1 ratio and coming in at 31" IPT - note that the 2000's are shallow spool and hold less than half the line as the 1000.

Comparing my Furys to my Mojos, I'd say the Furys are MF-F....just a bit slower than a true fast, but not a true Mod-Fast either unless it's the 705CB which is a Mod-Fast

Both my Okuma Celilos are 2 piece - no issues.

Okay - so 100ah rating....means at speed 5 on the Edge, the battery will last a little more than 2hr20min (I have the same Edge 45) - but at speed 1 it'll last 20 hours Couple things - 1: I'd trade out that 100amp breaker for a 50. 2: If you got a sonar, I'd get a small 35ah battery to run that and connect it also to the lighter socket and USB ports - let the 100ah be solely for the TM

Change that Miravel 2500 to a Miravel 1000 and that's my Ned/Dropshot/Neko rig.

I've only got one UL rod for panfish - an Okuma Celilo 762UL...sucker will toss a 1/32 jig with 2" plastic a country mile on 4# test Siege.

I don't do sports other than fishing - Pluto TV is free, streams over the internet and has lots of shows and movies. Also run Paramount Plus when Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is showing...cancel when the season is over, restart when the next season begins.

I would say any of the 2500 reels on the Mojo 610MLXF would be your best bet For new purchase: Rod - any decent UL to M power Reel - any decent 1000-2500 reel - 1000 on UL or L rods, 2000-2500 on ML or M rods Line - 4# on the UL to 8# on the M - mono or FC

It's safe - the only question is - what's the capacity of that battery (AH rating)? Did you also get a charger rated for Lithium?

No - but considering it's supplied by Pure Fishing it's probably relabeled Berkley, Stren or Shakespeare .

If you don't treat it, the memory is more than mono or FC as it is a blend of the two, but using this I have no issues.

Another vote for both Elite and Yo-Zuri - for the latter, decide what line test you'd want then drop it one...if you'd normally put 10# on, use Yo-Zuri 8#, etc.

Ya - if the Daiwa model you're looking at has a 'D' in the model number (Fuego LT 1000D) that's a deep spool. Have to go JDM to get the standard or shallow spool Daiwa reels - they seem to think everyone over here wants a million miles of line on their reel so that's all they provide retailers here with.
