Bass fishing
How is it 'technically' public. My experience, a lake is either private or public...can't be both.

Fishing. No coffee in the morning.
The wife won't even acknowledge my existence until the first cup of the day hits my system. I go through a whole 12-cup pot every day...then maybe a couple cups of tea. Tea is an even better diuretic. I'm 62-1/2 now and never had a kidney stone in my life.

Spooling What NOT To Do
All my braid is backed with cheap mono. Don't have to use much, just a couple layers will be enough.

Spinning rod with no hook keeper
- Backup lures
I've got maybe 3-4 duplicate lures, and those were acquired by accident....my budget is such that replacing one when I lose it is more feasible than having dupes of everything.- Northland Spinnerbaits

Try it off the trolling motor - if you see interference, you can put a filter on the sonar's power line. I ran a Garmin Striker 7cv off the single battery in my canoe...with the filter on, I saw no interference. A ferrite-core clip on is what I used https://www.amazon.com/Pienoy-Noise-Filter-Suppressor-Diameter/dp/B07GKBPYB9/ref=sr_1_42?crid=5L15VM0GAXLB&keywords=12v+DC+powerline+filters&qid=1655040273&sprefix=12v+dc+powerline+filters%2Caps%2C124&sr=8-42- 10 Must Have Lures...So What Are Yours?

Dude, once you let the monkey get it's paw into your wallet - you're doomed. Some nice stuff there - enjoy it.- Straying from the norm ???
I got $0.37, a mini-tin of Altoids Wintergreen smalls and a 2-AAA powered Mag-Lite in my pocket...that work? ?- Straying from the norm ???
You can send them down here - I'll put them to use.- Straying from the norm ???
It's what the flock decides it is... Come on, Tommy - you've been around long enough to know that.- Is there an answer?

How? I go to 'Attachments' and there's no select or delete option. 'Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.' Follow-up - Never mind...found it...it's kinda dim on my screen.- Post a photo a day!
Every June my wild rose bush blooms...ya, I harvest the rose-hips. (when did the max file size get cut in half? Use to be 1.34mb...now it yells at me if it's over 641kb)- Why you should never go fishing without a spinning rod
Cranks - proper rod and IPT of the reel and they're easy. I do light cranks on a ML/MF (1/8-5/8) spinning rig with a 2500 reel that has an IPT of 25.0. There are MH/Mod-Fast spinning rods out there for larger cranks. Frogging - any decent MH/F spinning rod will work for that. I do have one, but it's relegated to my heavier skipping duty (jigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc) Walk the Dog - for my Zara Puppies, I use my M/F spinning rod more than my M/F casting rod for them. Again, larger topwaters (Zara Spooks, etc) could be done on that MH/F rod.- Unused waders leak
That was a mistake - waders should never be rolled, folded, etc....should always be hung in a way to keep them straight. Depends - did they cost enough to make it worth your time and effort to possibly fix them, or is it worth it more to you to just replace them...only you can make that decision.- The true world record
Yep - but they were talking non-native in the general...at least rainbows are N.A. native...browns aren't...LMB and SMB are...though the ranges of both have been artificially increased.- The true world record
Rainbows are at least native to North America - though west coast only...anything beyond that is old transplant. https://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/FactSheet.aspx?speciesID=910 Largemouth are North American from the start - though only Mississippi and Great Lakes and points east - anywhere else in the world, they're a transplant. https://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/factsheet.aspx?SpeciesID=401- Unused waders leak
Back when I stream fished for trout, I had waders. Did exactly this - hung them up on a specialty hanger. They were bought in the late 70s...so 'old tech' - when I got out of stream fishing, I sold them and they were still leak proof...that was in the mid 80s. Here - try these...$8 investment can save you bundles in the long run https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/rackem-boot-wader-drying-hanger- Need info on a new-to-me Reel
A little Googling and this is what I could come up with Age - reel was released in 1985 - so about 37 years Ratio - 6:1 was considered 'High Speed' back then...so probably that or less.- The true world record
So wipe all the record Brown Trout off the books for North America. Brown Trout were imported from Europe - they're not native to this side of 'The Pond'. How many other species are in the same boat?- How can i track my fishing rods and reels?
E-Bay and FB Marketplace are a couple others... - Backup lures
