Winter 2021/22
Well, here we go...starting to remind me of October '91 when they kept upping the snow forecast. NOW they're saying 7"-12" for the metro...few days ago it was only suppose to be 1"-3"

Garage Ceiling Rod Storage
When you're ready to re-do it properly...hit up Rockler by Ridgedale. That's where I get all my specialty wood, including the Sandlewood I made mine from. I even have another piece that I'm going to make an indoor, wall-mount rack from.

Garage Ceiling Rod Storage
What type of wood did you use?

Winter fishing zoom call series
Dean transferred 'control' to you, Glenn, so you could post that pic...when you left, the software thought the meeting was over. Whoopsie...

Winter fishing zoom call series
I'm just gonna leave that one alone.

The latest sale thread
Next year I have to remember that they always have a Dobyn's sale after BF...maybe get a Champ XP-Split Grip to replace the Aird-X (either of them)...this year, I'm out of funds for tackle.

Winter 2021/22
NWS is saying 2-4 tomorrow and another 1-3 tomorrow night - so 3-7 total by Saturday morning. And I gotta run to Carver Saturday to pick up a couple things...might be engaging the 4WD for the first time this year.

Brushless TM & Lithium ion batteries
I was assuming that the 12v were also LiFePo's.

Brushless TM & Lithium ion batteries
A single 36v/100ah battery is no different than 3-12v/100ah batteries hooked in series far as power is concerned. What you do save is the weight.

Looking for Jig Skipping Rod
Mine is an Okuma Reflexions A 7'0" Medium-Heavy/Fast. I like the Okuma because it's max lure rating is 1-1/4oz instead of the 1oz of most others...gives me a bit more top-end.

The Mind of a Bass
Considering a guy tossed a lure that looked like Pikachu and caught a good size bass on it...it's pretty certain a hungry bass will attack just about anything.

Fishmas 2021
Boy - I hope you get me...

Best Gear ratio for frog fishing
Ditto on the power/action in general, though my frog tossing is moving to the Fury 765FLIP...previously it was done on my 7'0" Aird-X H/F.

Whats Europe's most popular sport fish?
I think it was an exchange - we got Brown Trout, they got LMBs.
-
Jigheads for Soft Plastics
Not quite a round-head - but the VMC Moon Eye jigs have worked well for me. They come in weights from 1/32oz to 1oz

Ruger Mark II problems
I never ran anything but CCI Mini Mags through my Mk II Target...never had an issue.

Tackle bag versatility
For my shore-fishing trips I use this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087684NHS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Holds 6-3600 boxes in the main compartment, 1-3600 box in the front pocket and 1-3600 box under the elastic cord on top - so 8 boxes. 4-5 boxes of lures/hooks/etc 3-4 3607-10 boxes (single compartment) of plastics still in their original bags. One single pocket (shown) on one side, 2 half-size pockets on the other side, mesh pocket in back and MOLLE attachment system.

Whats Europe's most popular sport fish?
Well, bass are popular with the European members here. @Tim Kelly (London, England) and @JohnFromLisbon (Lisbon, Portugal) are semi-regulars...John's even been online a couple of times for our Zoom meetings that Boomstick arranges. I think we just recently got another Englander as a member too.

The latest sale thread
Ordered on 11/27, shipped on 11/29, received on 12/1 I'd go back and check with them - also, priority is given to Fleet Rewards members...which I am.

My one rifle
Heck - if the shot was over 50 yards, I'd 'take a knee'.

Seems we might have a bit of warmth coming
Won't help us - Minnetonka is socked in - drove past Cooks and Spring Park Bays today and both were 100% covered far as I could tell.

My one rifle
Marlin 336? I had one of those as well...iron sights as I 'stalk hunted' rather than 'stand hunted'...great rifle for traipsing through brush.
