Daiwa AirdX vs Procyon?
Another option - which I have two of - is the Okuma Reflexions. About the same price as the Procyon...and so far seems to be a really good rod.

Daiwa AirdX vs Procyon?
I like Furys myself..currently half my arsenal is on Furys.

Trailer keeper preference
I prefer the wire keepers - if I'm going to re-use a bait, they seem to tear it up less than the lead wedge-hooks.

Joining the 'real' boat crowd
Nice to know it's going to a good cause. That trailer of yours needs all the help it can get.

Daiwa AirdX vs Procyon?
I don't use XF rods...ever...so can't say specifically. If you want just a fast though, the 7'3" Procyon MH is a Fast, not an Extra-Fast.

Daiwa AirdX vs Procyon?
I can't tell you power-to-power how they rate, but I do own rods from both lines. I think the Procyon is a little crisper than the Aird-X and a bit lighter. It's also a better looking rod, IMO.

Canoe modification
Look at my profile - it's there like the rules say it's suppose to be.

My connection or this site?
Glenn just did a major upgrade of the forum software - there's liable to be a few bugs here and there until it settles in. It's always that way with upgrades - 10 years of being a programmer taught me that.

Canoe modification
Never did get around to the vid. But here's a couple shots I took for the 'For Sale' adverts I'll be putting up in a couple places.

Not sure, but I think their trip on the water was cancelled.- Post a photo a day!
It's one car, man. Silver-gray body, but a dark rear-end...it's just at a ****-eyed angle diving into the deeper water just beyond the concrete lip of the ramp. I've seen cars like that...some kids think it's cool to have a dark rear on a light car.- Post a photo a day!
Left to right we have boat, two guys, trailer, car...backed by the dock...nothing else I'm seeing in that pic.- Post a photo a day!
Are you seeing the dark trunk lid on the silver-gray car and thinking it's two cars?- Hair Jigs
I'm using hair jigs for finesse work. Lindy Little Nipper in 1/16oz. Usually a 4" Curly tail or twin tail grub - Mr. Twister or Zoom Fat Albert.- Air you can wear....go home
Someone tried to tell me that 'It's not that bad'...I showed them this graph Now try to tell me that Climate Change isn't real...- Post a photo a day!
This was from one of my FB Bass groups...guy who posted. "Maxwells right now… holy **** UPDATE I JUST SAVED A MANS LIFE HE WAS DROWING IN THE BACKSEAT AND I JUMPED IN AND GOT HIM OUT" "I dove in and got my hands inside the window unlocked the car and told him to take one last breathe and I would pull Him out" The shirtless one was the guy in the car, the one on the phone was the rescuer.- Any smokers out there(?)
Yep - last time I tried to quit on the suggestion of the wife (who's an ex-smoker) it wasn't 24 hours later she told me to go out and buy more...I'd turn into a right b-tard.- Post a photo a day!

We've been having hot/humid weather this week - temps near or over 90. Now Friday night we're suppose to have storms and after they pass, high temps will drop to 70s and low 80s. About time - I haven't been able to do much with the trailer without risking heat exhaustion.- Striper fishing on the Sacramento river
First question that always needs to be asked. What's your budget?- New Feature! Stock Photo Picker
Dude - seriously - you need to have Keri drag you out to the lake for some fishing...you're turning into a geek behind the computer keyboard. Really, these upgrades are cool...- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
That bait monkey is a sneaky fella...creeps up and bites you in the bum every time. - Post a photo a day!
