  1. This should cover all your needs. https://www.amazon.com/Klein-Tools-32717-Screwdriver-Multi-Function/dp/B08DRVM38X/ref=sr_1_15?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ZkIxsLlQJdP3-C7iKhvx4I_QIV5CIWiz8zGUKQzdRKWqCjQoWbq4UL7QXPHxL7d4NuF4L6TU7h9e2QuowwKsG0EV4zmc3XdHmos1sSGWO-uvedrLS0aEwLtkyOR0VhRnwBdMnVPVfjVTzx_atUNFTBpogS7WqEd6t3o8xb0QP6MlnK77GaDThowwsHBNYG7AOxUnhUNM2VuJwCJpbxd9nt-uITD8NAynq_g6qUFjt2_zbhHWlwR1mcWiEIDodfyZ_IdTw1aqJxkX4Pd6XCqAhgKoOXq6rj7tWDSvpe9n5A8.lrxXy-cvjpR7Zt4cBqj-TDkSFbAr2-wetDktFtKtRRI&dib_tag=se&keywords=precision+screwdriver+set&qid=1715141519&sr=8-15
  2. Quite a bit of Tonka is this way too - yep...stir up that mud, make it look like something rooting around for food...bass will go after something like that...and rip it through the weeds like you'd do with a lipless.
  3. Well, since ChatGPT IS an AI front end - I'm not surprised. And it works like any other computer controlled database - GIGO. (Garbage In, Garbage Out) And having built and programed a couple PC database applications from scratch back in the 80s and early 90s, I think I know databases.
  4. Ya...the 74sv comes with Bluechart - which is saltwater. If you're going after stripers, cod and flounder in Cape Cod Bay or Nantucket Sound it'd be perfect....if you're fishing freshwater, you want the 73sv
  5. Off limits until 12:01am Saturday.
  6. Yep - squarebills are designed for shallow-water cranking. While you'd use standard cranks for 5'+ water, squarebills are for anything under that depth...right to the water-line in some cases. Otherwise same rules apply - grind them on the bottom, bounce them off wood laydowns, etc.
  7. ^ I'm with the previous - bottom contact is F or XF...single hook moving baits (which includes swim jigs) is on MF...trebles are on M. Frogs are a special case...my frog rod is a H/F
  8. Yep - weightless hook - 1/32, 1/16 or 1/8oz tungsten nail weight.
  9. Only thing I use Alexa for is listening to my Spotify playlists either upstairs or in the basement (2 Echo Pops) Haven't even looked at ChatGPT - no interest for me.
  10. Weedless wacky and weighted wacky hooks takes care of that issue...I have wacky hooks in weightless, 1/16oz and 1/8oz in regular and weedless - covers all my bases for wacky and neko.
  11. Neko I think of as an alternative to a Ned - bottom contact, drag or hop it along - there's also the Micro-Jika rig Weighted Wacky - 1/32 or 1/16 jig head...lift it when it hits bottom and let fall - different way of working it from Ned or Neko.
  12. You thinking a database linking to other sites for the information and actual purchase? How do you maintain your database when they change the link locations...trust me, they do that here and there.
  13. What make/model is that TM - that would help narrow down the options.
  14. As someone who built and wired his boat from scratch, that's actually fairly neat
  15. Jerkbait sounds workable, as does a chatterbait....I'm also thinking jig-worm in and along the weed edges. Tentatively, Bass Trek gets wet on Monday.
  16. Looks to be about 22" - according to a chart printed years ago in 'In Fisherman', that'd equate to just over 6-1/2lb for a bass. Nice catch.
  17. Ooops - I had a Lowrance before my Garmins....I prefer the Garmins. Right now I have two on Bass Trek - a Striker 7cv that I 'ported' over from my old canoe, and a 93sv that (wait for it)....I purchased during this very sale.
  18. 6th Sense has 1/0 and 2/0 hooks on their Finesse Jigheads - 1/8oz-3/8oz https://6thsensefishing.com/products/finesse-jig-heads-raw?variant=41216724893835&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&srsltid=AfmBOooBp3WiPj8c8Lh1s6ATY68F-KfPZiYReko7nCz9wS-_j6fA9KLaKbY VMC's swimbait head has sizes 2/0 on the 1/8oz and 3/0 on the 1/4oz swimbait heads https://www.rapala.com/us_en/sbj-swimbait-jig The VMC Hybrid Swimbait jig also has 2/0 and 3/0 hooks https://www.rapala.com/us_en/hsbj-hybrid-swimbait-jig Search around and you can find just about anything.
  19. Any bets as to when the first fatality will be reported on Tonka? I'm shooting for Memorial Weekend Ya, I know...pretty morose thinking, but considering the idiots that cruise Tonka, highly apropos.
  20. Cals - full stop. https://www.amazon.com/Cals-Universal-Reel-Star-Grease/dp/B087PJP8CM/ref=sr_1_1?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.T-q7PFZbPSUT8fK4HmI_73GPuSxYc_GF_ZAW8cpxOsduP36j4KbTV1rGFnKwIizQRtLRwHbeN938Co_Q3WsVm4E_sIzE9WvT9noyLvs4FG_3ujwiQuZ7p5fWM_PAckQyq46uZipn4teAC1qxdx5-aAfCmZuBvh9PCIlf8tyuOM7AZc_Ztd4UA9F5YdDxm1KjUscx3lhaEFQTaBsS8WzGO83uaHlUWj6mB_XdpVfv_RUcum2TSrIJvih1e-hgfJXIRqQNeWTY_bmHtw7aSUE31cB1lTyUNPLGJO5aOa_koyk.CKzmoBe6LQBFMouEdkzSKIKt4iukoTqslf7Tuvdo97s&dib_tag=se&keywords=cals+drag+grease&qid=1715016081&sr=8-1
  21. Well I am old, and it just makes me feel older.
  22. Usually when Lynn has an improvement...but occasionally he'll get a decent smallie. 🤣
  23. Dwight - we can only wish we had bass that big up here...nice catch.
