What haircut - every so often I trim the ponytail, but that's the extent of it...I don't think I've been to a barber since before the Millennium change.

He's gotta be lazy - he lives about 3 suburbs from me...maybe 20-30 minutes away...and he won't even sic his 'Hair Police' on me. You're safe, Katie. 🙃

Fantasy Fishing 2024
Couple years ago one older pro decided that he wasn't even going to go up on the stage - talk about giving the finger to the fans. Despite him doing fairly well this year - I'll never pick him because of that.

Warming
Panfish, catfish, bullheads Bass, Walleye, Pike and Muskie are closed for inland waters...the river is a different story, but given my time constraints, I don't have the ability to fish it.

25 days until we can go target those pre-spawn bass.

Trolling Batteries
I'm going into year 3 on my Might Max AGMs - not a problem yet (Yes, AGMs are Lead-Acid, as are Gel-Cells...just a different method of holding the electrolyte instead of letting it 'slosh' around in the case)

2024 Minnesota Season Thread
That type of thing - I would have taken a pic showing the lures and the boat reg #, with date-time stamp enabled, then sent that to TIP

Chinesse LifePo Batteries Question
Ya - I got AGMs for the TM and House batteries...an a Wet-Cell for cranking. (AGMs and Gels are Lead-Acid too...just a different method for keeping the solution stable.)

Not that I'm gonna improve - none of my guys made the cut for today.

Chinesse LifePo Batteries Question
Is that AGM rated for cranking? Quite a few aren't, and you can damage it if it isn't and you use it as such. Look for a CCA or MCA rating on the label...if it has one, it's ok to use for cranking.

Life Jackets
I'd rather rely on the former rather than the latter...one is controllable, the other is a roll of the die.

1973 crosby sled, old and crusty- built like a tank
I see so much potential in that - winter project boat to turn it into a decked bass boat....

What grease and oils are you using to service baitcasters?
(snort) I finally ran out of my Abu oil this past maintenance cycle, so grabbed my air-tool oil...nice to know I made the right choice.

^ Ouch! Three of my guys made it to tomorrow....and they better up their game or they'll miss Monday.

Dermatologist recommended I use a different sunscreen
Downside is - if the left one goes, I don't have a 'spare'.
-
Dermatologist recommended I use a different sunscreen
I cannot stress this one enough - I didn't wear sunglasses when I should have for many years...now my right eye is plastic cause the 'original equipment' got cancer from the UV rays causing damage.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised - I still have a pair of Aird-Xs in my lineup despite the Victorys and Mojo Bass'...and yes, one of those Aird-Xs is a 7' MH/F.

Spinning Reel Recommendations for Finesse?
I have the Miravel 1000 and Ultegra 1000 on my two finesse rods - personally, I like the Miravel more. Current price on the Miravel 1000 from Digitaka is $96.52 TYD https://www.digitaka.com/item/5/4/1/4969363045119

Glad you said it - given your shed, I think you'll not give up until you need a bigger shed...and that'll only slow you down. Okay - you owe me some screen cleaner.....

New Video - Motor Position While Towing
Fixed that for you, Glenn With Bass Trek's 25hp tiller, I use the transom saver...but it's not braced to the rear roller, I mounted a brace on the trailer that the end of the saver gets pinned to...yes my trailer is steel.

Tomato Tahmata
Straight retrieve, bounce it off the bottom, switch where the tip of your rod is pointing to make it swerve, vary the retrieve to make it move up and down, rip it through cover...so many ways of working a chatterbait.
