  1. I don’t understand how a person who enjoys watching professional fishing doesn’t enjoy both. They both have great anglers and personalities competing in completely different formats. It’s refreshing. After all, the goal is entertainment.
  2. At one point had more. Down to 4 Falcon ALX Dobyns Kistler
  3. As a consumer I like MLF’s structure, production, and content better. I watch both though. My main gripe with BASS is that by the final day one or two guys have separated themselves from the field. 10 guys are fishing but the guy in 10th has no shot.
  4. Don’t forget about the lipless
  5. They should play a 15 min OT period in the playoffs. None of this first team to score bs
  6. https://www.sportsmansoutfitters.com/products/falcon-bucoo-sr-rods?variant=15104310444078 Get the amistad model
  7. Correct. Fred is now expanding his SixGill sponsorship to rods and reels
  8. Texas rig a Menace on the lightest weight you can get away with. Green or junebug/dark I also like a fluke or swim jig in these conditions
  9. If the brand can put money in the company’s pocket, good for them. Consumers have final say.
  10. Spinnerbait, squarebill, jig, creature.
  11. Personally I hate them
  12. Last year in a similar thread I answered lipless crankbait. Not anymore. I finally had some really great success on several lipless baits. Instead of a specific bait, I’m going to answer by saying I’ve never caught a fish deeper than 10 ft.
  13. I started disassembling and lubing mine a year or two ago. It was intimidating at first but I practiced on a couple old reels that were expendable if things went wrong. Now it’s an enjoyable task that I look forward to. Most all baitcasters are very similar internally which makes learning a little easier.
  14. Wheeler has a series on YT with Connell and MDJ where they sit down with a box of random baits and give their opinions on each. Some are sponsors and some aren’t. I really enjoy watching those and its seems to be as genuine of content you will find.
  15. Spro Lil John. It’s a river killer all year long
  16. Spinnerbait. Instead of burning or slow rolling I use a pull and pause retrieve. If I decide to slow roll I will switch to a heavy single Colorado.
  17. I bought a rod based on a pros advice once. I was trying to decide between 3 models and asked which he would buy. There have been many times where pros introduced a new bait to me that I didn’t know was on the market. Not saying I bought them all but new product marketing is definitely a big part of their sponsorship agreement.
  18. Two very similar size fish. One on a 3/4 oz single Colorado spinnerbait. Other on a Thunder Cricket.
  19. Fwiw, my wife and I both used PayPal and our cards were still compromised. Fraud is not going anywhere. Use avenues that protect you and keep an eye on your accounts. It’s unfortunately part of our life now and it’s not a matter of if but when. And please put those debit cards away. Only use them for ATMs
  20. I ran across an amazing deal on a lefty bait caster several years ago but couldn’t adjust. It was a fun experience and ended up making $50 selling the reel on ebay
  21. @ironbjorn Many thanks my friend! Jackhammers, Senkos, and jerkbaits…can’t go wrong there! I actually just bought a new jerkbait rod and am really going to focus on the technique in 2022. The Bull Shads really put this over the top. I’ve been wanting to try these for a while now!
  22. Swim craw is my favorite craw trailer for swim jigs.
