  1. They’re legit. You won’t receive any emails though. Just buy it through PayPal and wait for your package three days later
  2. I’ve shipped a few and it wasn’t too bad. Cost about $16 with insurance. Printing your own label makes it easier. The only real issue I’ve run into is some of the workers have idea how to enter a rod tube in their computer or will tell you they won’t ship it.
  3. I’ve bought 9 variants of the Tatula line in the last two years. I think the only model I haven’t owned is the Elite pitch and flip. 7 of the 9 were very smooth at purchase. The other 2 were acceptable for the price. I’ve sold a few of them but I’d call you all liars if it wasn’t for my fishing partner buying several that were in my opinion not acceptable. I cleaned and lubed mine and his as date of purchase and after. His have never been smooth. I guess I was fortunate.
  4. I thought it was a boring tournament until the last period. Feel bad for Bobby. He put on a show though.
  5. They can claim they are not placed in a conveyer belt all they want but I’ll never believe it. I’ve received several rods that had rod tubes ripped and unraveled. You could see the impact point and where it was pulled like a can of biscuits. Now when I ship one I have the clerk place bunch of fragile stickers all over it and they’ve arrived in perfect condition.
  6. Is he talking a single bait or technique? Because if technique it’s a Texas rigged hook. Spinnerbait is the same. I have to change blades, weight, and color to maximize success throughout the year. Assuming he’s talking singular bait though. A black/blue or GP 3/16 ounce jig will catch fish coast to coast 12 months a year in pretty much every condition. Same could probably be said for a weightless senko but the jig does offer more versatility at depths and swimming through grass.
  7. Our home lake now has 4-7 different tournaments a week. 10 years ago there were only 4-5 tournaments a month. Weights have dropped significantly. I’d say average winning weights have dropped from around 23 to 16 pounds. I’m not pointing all the fingers to the increase in tournaments as our local regulators have done little to help but you can’t tell me the added pressure and shear number of fish hooked arent playing a role in the decline. To play devils advocate on tournament lakes that receive this much pressure I don’t believe the Elite series or other pro 5 bagger trail is going to effect much. Not when there are hundreds of non pro boats riding around with stuffed livewell each week.
  8. That was touch to watch. He should have found Herron from the start. That man doesn’t fool around
  9. Wow some of you got really lucky. Best deal I’ve ran across was a Tatula SV brand new for $99 at Academy. The worker didn’t understand the mark down but that’s how it rang up so he let me have it. All the other SVs were full price
  10. They might as well rename Lake Fork to Lake Patrick Walters
  11. The Experts are just amazing rods especially if you play your cards right. Most of mine were bought for $150-160. I’ve become more and more comfortable with the Cara but I’d buy another Expert before Cara
  12. Swings are free. It takes a lot of time on the water
  13. GReb replied to gim's topic in Everything Else
I have a Ryobi electric that does fine for vehicles, boat, and small jobs. It will clean concrete and siding but just takes longer. I regret not just buying a gas
  14. You did the right thing. Glad we could help spend your money
  15. Went to Bass Pro tonight to pick up a few last minute things like a spool of Invisx, Mustad grip pin hooks, and a pack of Zakos. They were out of stock of them all.
  16. It holds plenty. Pretty sure I’ve never made a 70 yard cast
  17. Bandit 100 or 200 would be my first choice. 2” small profile and a million colors. Casts well
  18. Makes no difference to me while fishing but I prefer the look of cork
  19. Why not just use .22 scatter shot
  20. Lighter weight will make a difference when you’re chunking and winding for 10 hours.
  21. I was looking into the new Curado 70 MGL but ended up buying a Met B for $285 and several Bantams for $260 from Japan
  22. Stand. Pedestals just get in the way in case i need to break dance like Ike
  23. I prefer darker blades jigs and brighter spinnerbaits. GP or bluegill bladed jig with black/blue trailer is a good producer
  24. unfortunately due to sales tax it’s only 13% here
  25. I’ve heard that before lmao. If you are attempting to pull fish out of pads and thick grass wouldn’t the rod taking up more line help you get more vertical on the fish and pull it up over the top?
