First cast surprise this morning.

Caught 3 LM and 7 Spots today in the glorious 30 mph winds.

No! That's like asking which wife is my favorite, IT AIN'T RIGHT. They all have a place in the line up. Some are lighter and handle great, some are powerful and can bigger task, and some are silky smooth.

I usually throw the single Colorado for bream feeders and a double Willow for shad feeders. Maybe a dark skirt, sometimes the crush brighter colors.

I've fished all over your home lake in my 1448. It'll run 25 mph with the 25 Mercury. I can fish for 8 hours with the 80 lb Terrova and when I plug it in to charge they're still at 70%. It comes in way under 2K and launching/loading is a snap.

Night possibly, running maybe, long range will also make judging 40 versus 80 lbs very difficult if not impossible. I called predators for over twenty years and you typically get a couple seconds to make a decision.

All Springs are great, it's my physical and mental(mostly) abilities that make them ordinary or extraordinary. We had a nonexistent shad spawn in 2023 and it hurt my feelings something fierce.

My girl Bailey(Dachshund) that thinks she's a cross between a Greyhound/Bull Mastiff/Draft Horse/Great Dane is highly allergic to any chicken. So she gets a few special mass produced chicken free treats but really loves a plate of baked Spotted Bass, dices tomatoes, matchstick carrots, and shredded cheddar.

My tenacity is used for getting me through the back and shoulder pain when I sit up in bed at the 4 am alarm. Everything beyond that is gravy. Passed multiple Kidney stones while fishing.✔️ Puking while fishing. ✔️ All that mess is temporarily in the mind but the memory of giant bass live there forever.

I don't change hook size or thickness and use Hairwire lead and adjust as needed. With the amount of weight I usually add, I haven't noticed a difference in action.
