Well I am getting to the point where I am really starting to dislike the guys on here that live in the warmer areas of the United States, and all their bragging about fishing! ?. Glad someone is able to fish right now, if I tried to put my boat in the lake right now it would most likely just bounce! ?. I live vicariously through all you southern boys in the winter!

I am with Sooner! If they want to pay my bills then they can tell me how and what to spend my money on! Tell my inlaws the same thing when they question why I but more fishing gear, when they start paying my bills then they can tell me, until then stay out my business! haha

If I ever get the chance later in life it will most likely be Eastern Tennessee for me, so many lakes around that area!

I do this also! Was down there last evening messing with stuff. Getting my boat boxes ready and putting plastics in my KVD speed bags for the boat! haha Those will all change six more times before the ice is off the water!!

I have a 7.5 1 on my 705CB, I use it mainly for squarebills.

As do all of us!!! I have just accepted the fact that no matter how hard I try I am always going to be buying tackle. When I am dead and gone I am sure my buddies will be having a grand old time in my fishing room dividing tackle up! haha.. I have totes for each style of soft plastic I own, and some need a second tote started for said style! You are just getting started!!!

Sometimes I wish we had an Academy around here, then I think about how much trouble I would be in with some of those sales and think it is most likely a good thing there isn't!

I would say the only problem your friend has is when the wife figures out what the delivery guy is up to! ? I take the wife to the tackle store with me and she is the one to grab the shopping basket, I don't grab one for a reason! haha When that happens we both know bad things are going to happen.?

Well I was at home quarantined for 14 days so while I was home I decided to work on my fishing room in the basement and get all of my stuff out of the closet and better organized in the basement. Built a shelf that was 5ft long and 18" deep this is now where my soft plastics in their totes sit, built another shelf that was 24" long and 15" deep and this is where all my tackle trays and stuff that usually goes in the boat are now stored. Also built a 6ft long table to put my tying vice on and to be able to work on tackle and rods and reels. Last but not least built a rod rack big enough to put about 20 rods and reels on, still have quite a few open slots!? Sorry would post picks but I can't seem to figure that out! haha

2500 size reel will be just fine for all those techniques. That is the only size spinning reels I buy.

If you call or email Mercury with the serial number they will most likely be able to tell you the year and HP on it! I have contacted them twice about my motor so I get the correct parts for it and they just ask for serial number and give me the exact part numbers I need for it!

I understand, I have been in quarantine since last Friday. If I am not on here or the couple other forums I am part of, also watching fishing videos, I am looking at more tackle to buy that I know I don't need but just can't help myself! Haha

Love fishing? Yeah I guess I do, I love being outdoors and fishing is the one thing that keeps me sane in a crazy world. Like many have said, fishing has made it so I ha e seen things that many people never will. I also love collecting tackle, so fishing gives me an excuse to do that as well. I love everything about the sport of fishing, figuring the bass out, seeing things in nature that make you smile, and also the friendships that come from loving this sport!

He was casting quite a ways! His son is his camera operator, he was in the water filming while the host was fishing, he would release and the camera would follow them back to the nest from a distance.

Watched the show Hook and Look the other day, he was fishing St Clair during the smallmouth spawn. He was bed fishing, every one he caught and released went right back to the nest. Not saying it is the end all be all, but it was pretty telling of their instincts to protect their young.

My local shop has been good through all of this! They got low but never ran completely out of anything!
