  1. To answer your question, I fish 20+ a lot using 1/16 and 3/32 oz heads. I am a firm believer that the Ned should be fished behind me for best results. I put the boat in the depth that I want, make a diagonal cast and let the bait fall. If no strike I give a light twitch, lift the rod tip a bit and let it fall again. While doing this I have the trolling motor running as slow as it will go so that the bait is not only coming toward me but also swinging to the max depth that it will be fished. Then I can fish it parallel in that depth back to me and repeat the process until I find the correct depth.
  2. Wives and pencils solve that kind of problem.
  3. I looked for a Curado for two months. One day I noticed it mounted on a rod in the bottom of my spinning setup rod locker.
  4. I think I am a step ahead of you guys. I have been going through stuff and selling or trading for the last couple of years. Another dozen or so and I think I will have it under control.?
  5. Been thinking about that same thing for a while. I would rather have more like what I have than try the new ones.

  8. You bet there are so many price variations out there. My insurance company does a good job of tracking meds. If a cost skyrockets they notify me and recommend something else for my doctor and me to consider.
  9. Elaztech worms Strike King and Zman in several colors.
  10. They sure are expensive. I bought some from a guy in KS. They cost more than a dollar each. I found out about the Midwest Finesse jig mold. I bought it. Now I am only out the cost of the hooks.

  13. Just to be safe, you could install disconnect switches on one battery so you could just open them while charging.
  14. Do you have a jack plate? What is your prop to pad height?
  15. I use the light weight down to about 25' unless it is windy then I have to go deeper so I can feel it. You might get some 3/8 while you are at it.
  16. A friend kept an aluminum going 20 years putting JBWeld on his rivets.
  17. Have you checked your prop to pad height. 3 1/2” is the typical place to start.
  18. A made in the USA company that produces quality is in Harrison AR. It is called Ark Rods.
  19. I only know about the Stradics. I have 4 of them. None are new. All have been very satisfactory.
  20. I hate bluffs. I love bluff ends.
  21. My question is, are you missing fish when setting the hook? If not and you like it keep on keepin’ on.
  22. 15’ is not deep around here. We don’t worry unless they are 40’ or so.
  23. I am betting you can mount a 10 at the bow and see it from the console. I’d get someone to position it while I sat at the console and made my decision.
