Tow a 2,960lbs boat with a vehicle that has a 3,500lbs. tow rating?
The issue is braking. If your trailer doesn’t have brakes it will be sketchy.

Trailers?
The ones I make don’t have any salt so they stay on. Trailers with salt are the ones that you have to be concerned about.

One Red Light
Do you actually have a gel instead of an agm?
-
One Red Light
That too was my first thought. Your charger may not be compatible with a gel battery. Some aren’t even with agms.

Offboard Marine Charger for Trolling Motor
If that is your plan, Tom has a good idea.

Water point vs a point?
Right now Bull Shoals pretty much has no points showing as it is 40’ above power pool.

Water point vs a point?
That is a term that is new to me. I don’t know how you can have a point on a lake without land, be it above or below the water.

Watermelon red senkos
That color can work anywhere though I prefer fairly clear water and sunshine. That is my go to color when pb&j is slow.

Swim Jig Bite
I don’t set the hook until I feel weight.

Preparing for a fishing road trip
If it is your boat and tow vehicle, your buddies should pony up for the gasoline.

I do that when alone. It is great.

Electronics Upgrade
I suggest electronics first. After you get what you want and become comfortable with them you can get a trolling motor that is compatible. If you are going HB the MK with link is way more versatile than just Ipilot.

Shimano Curado DC 150 Gear Ratio
I use 7s and 8s myself. It is easier for me to slow down than to speed up.

Good Bass Fishing in Missouri?
I fish Table Rock, Stockton, Pomme de Terre, and sometimes Truman. The main city in the area is Springfield.

A Slap in the Face
Our fisheries biologists say take out at least 20 bass per surface acre of water every year.

Bait Cast Reel Sizes You Use Most ?
Right now I am using my 70s mostly. They are my shaky and Ned setups and that is what is working now. The 150 and 200s are patiently waiting for their time to come.

Stores Being Bought Out.
I don’t see anyone buying BPS in John L’s lifetime. Maybe after he’s gone. He’s a big duck in our little Missouri puddle and loves it.

electrolysis
There should be one on your engine.

Outboard Mounting Height/Low Water Pressure
I had an Optimax for 14 years it always showed low water pressure.

Life Jacket
When I needed a new one I asked a friend who works for the Corps of Engineers what they use. He said they were furnished with the best Mustang out there. He said he can work all day long with it on. I figured that would be the way to go so I have one and wear it all the time.

Question
That sounds like my favorite shaky rod. I also use it for cranking.
