  1. That’s a long time for gas to be setting around. If it were me I’d be calling or web searching for ways to recycle or dispose of it.
  2. I throw 1oz jigs on 12# fluorocarbon with no issues. Learn the Pitzen knot. It works for all types and sizes of line.
  3. White…anytime any place Firecracker…clear water sunny Bleeding Shad…cloudy to stained water Golden Shiner…cloudy day Chartreuse…anytime any place
  4. Cold is not my friend. My best temp is 76°F.
  5. Crick that is a pretty thorough list. I’ll get my travel guide (wife) looking them up.
  6. Check your electronics amp draw then go from there. Mine draw 2.5 amps per hour.
  7. I’m not sure that I fit your definition, but paying attention is an absolute. For example a few trips ago we couldn’t find anything. After 5 hours I went through what all we had fished. Pretty much all that was left was a long gravel runoff next to a channel. I pulled up to one that had produced in the past and it was full of bass. We went from nothing to 39 in an hour and a half.
  8. Who says a Keitech is a bass only bait?
  9. I mostly fish football jigs that I make myself, however, I have become a fan of Jewell’s Pee Wee jigs with a 4” twin tail grub trailer. Bass Whacker had been the best but Hail Mary is also good. https://jewelbait.com/shop/details/jigs/pee-wee-football-jig-skirted
  10. We catch several large crappie on Keitech 2.8 swim baits while bass fishing in April and May. We are fishing them on Dirty Jigs 1/8 oz guppy heads.
  11. I have never had one of his jig heads but a while ago my buddy and I ordered several of everything that they make in sliders. I still have some that I haven’t used yet. They make great baits or white bass and hybrids.
  12. I use the mesh rod socks. I don’t use reel covers.
  13. I bought 2 more Stradics last week. They are smooth as silk. I also have some that are 20 years old.

Yep the Graphene is a very good product.
  15. 5 gallon bucket with a lid, store everything and have a place to sit down.
  16. I used to like pike fishing. They were stocked locally but when they go to around 15# they died off.
  17. We are planning a non fishing vacation to your state this fall. The actual schedule is yet to be determined. We would like to take advantage of some fall color. We plan to fly in to Portland, rent a car and make our way up the cost. When would you suggest that we come? What are some “you have to see places”? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
  18. None but I do see more since I got the third eye.
  19. I’ve been pouring lead jigs probably since before you were born. I have seen no ill effects. In fact I need to go pour some Ned and Shaky heads before the next trip.
  20. That’s typical with them, especially on name brand items (like we don’t know what they cost).
  21. I’ve used both. The fg is smaller in diameter and stronger. I use 15# braid with 8 and 10# leader. I use a 7-12’ leader so I can get some reties when I break off baits. This is on 1000, 2000, 2500 and 3000 size spools.
  22. I’ve tried a lot of braid to leader knots. The only one to never fail is the fg. It also seems to be the smallest in diameter.
  23. Just eyeballing them they looked alike and both fit both frames. I don’t think I will ever need the larger capacity spool. Thanks. I will check out your link.
  24. I just purchased a 2500 HGFL and a 3000 XGFL at the Tackle Warehouse sale. I want to get extra spools. The 3000 holds way too much line. It looks to me like the spools are interchangeable. Are they?
