I did my duty and watched the entire video. I’m going to refrain from scoring it so as to not offend anyone ?

Why am I losing my leader when I get snagged....
I was having occasional breakoffs myself using the crazy alberto. I’m convinced that on lighter lines taking your tag through the loop at the end 2-3 times rather than once makes for a much better knot. I have knot (sorry?) had a break off this year.

Is there a rod out there with these characteristics!?
You didn’t mention what line you’re using but try that 705cb with braid before you spring for a new rod, you might be surprised. Edit nvm didn’t see you mentioned you use braid already.

Choosing lexa 300 hd over tranx 300 for finesse musky/bass setup

Kung fu hustle was an instant classic.- Bubba Shot
Which league? I looked into a few local tourneys in my area and none of them allowed canoes due to their definition of a kayak is that it had to be a one piece plastic craft. Ive been fishing this rig quite a bit this year and even got a new pb about a month ago using a strike king baby bass caffeine shad on it.- Most sensitive jig/ t-rig casting rod under $300
Pm’d- Most sensitive jig/ t-rig casting rod under $300
Just had an epiphany due to your above comment. I've been experimenting this year with retrieving bottom contact lures with my rod tip down and exactly inline as possible with the line/lure using only the reel to control the lure which effectively negates the rod completely, can't believe the sensitivity. Only when the rod is up or to the side does it's sensitivity matter. Hmmm.... kinda makes me question that $400 rod purchase I made last week- How many “main” setups do you have?
Being a bonafide minimalist has me using 3 setups at the moment. 7’3” hvy/mod-fast for glides, swimmers, and wakes/rats. 7’3” xhvy/fast for soft paddle tail swimbaits. Frog & punching rig too when needed. 7’3” mh/fast for jigs and plastics, mostly flipshot or jika rigged. ”I fear not the man who has 10,000 lures in his box, but I fear the man who shows up with a pocketful, and also the man who ate taco bell yesterday” -me- Confused about jig-bottom fishing
Nrx is the gold standard, better is subjective though. I find a more sensitive rod is better for reasons other than bite detection. Being able to determine what type of bottom your fishing through is a huge bonus, and being able to tell if your lure picked up a piece of weed increases efficiency so you don’t waste time on that cast. Being more in tune and connected to your lure is never a bad thing, well bad for your wallet perhaps ?- Most sensitive jig/ t-rig casting rod under $300
Thanks bud, just ordered a 7’3” mh, I’ll have it Monday, yay! See you at the bait monkey support group next week.- Most sensitive jig/ t-rig casting rod under $300
The poison adrena is a ghost right now, no one has one, I’ve been looking. If anyone has seen one in stock please speak up.- Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
Sterling is nothing but dinks. I heard that there was a big kill off due to the village idiots over poisoning the lake a few years ago.- Hard body swim baits
The gantarel jr is 1 1/2oz, that rods lure rating tops out at 3/4oz, I doubt thats going to work without a very soft lob cast which will rob you of distance. I’d just try your other rod with mono line first. Gear ratio is preference, but most prefer faster 7 or 8:1 for glides and swimbaits, and slower 5 or 6:1 for paddletails, but any can work in a pinch. Experimentation is the best teacher.- Hard body swim baits
A legend extreme heavy/fast with braided line (with or without a leader) is going to be a guaranteed exercise in frustration with glides and jointed swims, you will lose fish if not miss strikes entirely unless they’re suicidal. At the very least ditch the braid for a 15-20lb copoly line or better yet opt for a rod with a moderate to moderate-fast taper. The dobyns 795 is a versatile rod and a great value.- You're stuck on an island, only one lure to take
Well an island probably doesn’t have bass, and if i was going to rely on this one lure to feed me I’d have to go with a small inline spinner, a mepps or a rooster tail.- 7’0 or 7’2 Rod
7’1” is the obvious choice, even rod length is bad juju ?- Fill in the blank
Slightly off topic but I see you have the 7’3” mh poison, curious how soft “regular” action is on that rod, is it for cranking or bottom contact?- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Newest addition to the family, the new tatula swimbait rod (ttu 731 hrb-sb), tatula 200 reel not new but a perfect match! One sweet stick, got a real winner here!- Medium Swimbait Line
20lb copoly, I’ve had sufix advance on two of my rods this entire season and have had zero issues, very happy with it after being a longtime p-line user. Slightly more sensitivity is a great bonus as well.- Anyone order anything from Japan in Ebay lately?
Which delivery service did you use?- Anyone order anything from Japan in Ebay lately?
Just wondering how the shipping times have been and which method of shipping would be fastest. I seem to recall that EMS was having delays and FedEx was quicker, can anybody corroborate?- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I recall reading good things about that reel a while back, mind if I ask you for a mini review? Pm ok - martial arts/sword movies OR asian cinema in general
