  1. If I'm not catching fish, the first thing I blame is the line. ?
  2. I'm only 61 and hope to have that wisdom at 73, I've got a ways to go ?
  3. I believe I've got 50 - 60 laying around from Christmas presents over a long span. I'm just not a multi-tool kinda guy, more job specific. If you ever go through western VA and need a multi-tool, look me up, free.
  4. The unscathed passengers collaborated and said " a payday can be had " . Yep, the world we live in. ? Glad you're ok ?
  5. Been catching 90% of my fall bass on underspins so ordered a dozen more ?
  6. Costco has the best deal on wines that I've seen. At Walmart ? I'd say Barefoot or maybe Apothic.
  7. 1st day of muzzle loader season this morning. Walked out of the house at 63* and returned at 77*......... western part of VA. Next week 40's and 20's ?
  8. Wow, there's a rough crowd up in here.
  9. Yeah wasn't quite what I expected......GA defense came to play.
  10. Haha, well you're actually correct about the Keitechs, 1 fish, but I keep throwing them because they catch fish and leave that nice fragrance of squid on the fingers ?
  11. This happened over 15 years ago. They weren't grounded due to my lack of enthusiasm for mowing grass......it was really tall grass, higher than the width of the football ?.
  12. Remember Ray well back in the 70's, outstanding punter. Side note: Actually got to meet Kenny Stabler and got an autographed football from him. Some years later my girls were tossing it around in the yard and left it lay. I didn't see it and grounded it up with the lawn mower ?
  13. I'm still of the mindset " Jerkbaits " are hard baits with trebles. I've never called a fluke a Jerkbait.
  14. Haha, also noticed that finesse fishing is broadening it's boundaries.
  15. Prefer casting gear but like you, fish clear water where downsizing and spinning gear makes better sense. Where I find spinning so much more advantageous is skipping flukes and wacky rig.
  16. This is not a direct answer to your question but rather.......skirting the edge. ? A bait that has been very effective for me personally This time of year and comes in 1/8 , less flash, kinda finesse and something you may want to add to your arsenal is an underspin. 1/4 - 3/8 actually make up all my Spinnerbait choices but at the present, underspins with a paddle tail swim bait have been catching.
  17. Make sure you layer up with all your attire apon arriving at the water. " It's easier to stay warm then to get warm" Something I learned in the army and also practice during hunting season as well...... it's true.
  18. Yes, used straight flouro in the past and in comparison, much prefer braid. Casting, sensitivity, hooksets, longevity, enhanced bait action. Spinning 15# Power Pro Casting 20# Power Pro Just one fishermans opinion ?
  19. Guess I'm unplugged from the social pipeline ?. Don't do FB, don't read a newspaper, don't watch TV other than a football game and don't own a computer......I like it that way.
  20. I only use flouro as leaders for finesse presentations, drop-shot, Neds and use a leader for Jerkbaits. Everything else is straight braid including jigs.
  21. Can you imagine if Tennessee beats Alabama and Georgia in the same year....... they have the offense. Tennessee vs Ohio State championship game? Yes, looking forward to the game.
  22. My wife's shoes and she was not happy. And if you've ever owned a Border collie, don't leave them at home alone during a thunderstorm, mine ate door trim and some drywall, apparently looking for refuge from the storm.
  23. I'm betting Berkeley Vanish will still be affordable ?
  24. my morning
