Blade color at night
Lol, there's a perfect formula for pitch black but forgot what it was. Maybe it's the turbulence created by the blade or blades spinning, just maybe.

Blue/Green Algae
Gotta admit, that's the worst I've seen. Would fish even bite in that ?

Craziness - Bladed jig the best bass bait?
The 2 rods that are always at the top of the rod locker have a Spinnerbait and a plastic worm tied to them.

Spinnerbait, or A-Rig for Fall
Me neither but I'm betting the under water vibration of the single blade Colorado is much more pronounced, perhaps what triggers the fishes reaction.

Lund 1875 pro v bass xs Question(s)
I looked at a ton of bass boats before purchasing a Lowe. Lund would be at the Pinnacle for aluminum hull and also really liked Vexus locally. Hope you find the right boat the suits your needs.

Spinnerbait, or A-Rig for Fall
I throw a short arm single blade year around, tied on every outing. Been doing well lately with jerkbaits as well. Our water temps are in the mid 60s.

Heavily Pressured Pond
Fish at night. Finesse worms weightless or 1/16 wacky head during the day.

Fall Fishing Will Humble You
Fall fishing is a welcome relief from summer heat and a few bigger fish. I've not been tearing them up this week but water temp was 68* today and was able to catch a few on top water jerkbaits early. I will definitely fish hard in October but prespawn will always be my preferred time on the water.

Jerkbait Setup Question
I like the answer which makes complete sense. Same thing but use a short flouro leader because braid forms a romantic relationship with front treble. Imo

How would you rate yourself ????
One thing I quickly realized about this old thread, not a single contributer back in 2005 is still around other than a moderator. Oh, I'm not competitive in the least and have no idea what or how I would rank myself. Drive would be a 10 as would fun.

Why do people leave their lures just hanging there when not in use?
Reading through this thread I get the impression that many members are against reeling a bait up to the top eye. I do it every time out but not reeling into the eye with any resistance. Release a foot of line and then cast. To much dangle will invite a tangle ?

Why do people leave their lures just hanging there when not in use?
I reel up to the top eye but never leave a bait dangling in the wind. Infact, if a particular bait isn't working , I'll put it away and rod goes into the rod locker to clear space.

Cashion 6’10” ML BFS vs Phenix 7’1” ML rod
I can't directly answer your question but have a 6'10 med Cashion Core and it runs a little stiffer then some of my other mediums. It's also my most used and favorite rod I own.

Anyone else get burned out on this site or social media stuff in general?
This forum is my only association with social media as I don't own a computer, don't read a newspaper and the only time the TV is on is football season..... it's called preservation of sanity. ? your in charge of making things what they are.

Dumb trailer tire question
Look at your tire size, rating and bolt pattern, get on Amazon and order..... it's that simple. I paid $68 for tire and rim.

Favorite part of fall fishing
Relief from the heat would be #1 for sure and not having to get up at 3 am to beat the heat.

Being on time
Oboy, this is a pet peeve of mine. Constantly late is a form of disrespect and something that rattles my cage. Everyone I deal with in life is always early, including the wife but my long time fishing partner needs a 30 minute buffer on the back side of time ?.

Knots in general
I usually tie the Alberto knot holding a glass of red wine, pinky in the air, makes me feel successful in life.......of course I use leaders. ?

why do some LMB have very prominent teeth?
First I've heard of this. Around here a ripped up thumb meant a good day on the water.

2023 deer hunt
Brother and I are hanging tree stands next weekend. Problem we're having is drought. I'm not seeing the amount of Bucks on camera that I usually see as there's no water up on the mountain. Oak trees have aborted small acorns already due to drought. My level of enthusiasm has taken a hit but I'll still be out there.

Hurricane fishing?
In Cat 4 - 5 hurricanes I like to fish bigger bodies of water. That way if you get blown around the likelihood of still being on water is much better. I just had to.
