Brush hog style lures?
We know that Zoom brush hogs and brush hog jr’s catch fish. However it looks like most manufacturers have their version of this lure. Can anybody share reasons I might be better off using another company’s version as it may offer something different? What brand to try and why and when? I don’t know anything about this style lure but I am wanting to expand on it. Thanks

Post a photo a day!
Had a rat at our cabin in the woods. I gave him a .380 headache. At the value of ammunition currently, that dirty rat wasn’t worth killing ?

One lure only.
There has been hundreds of times that I did just that. I would take a balsa jerkbait, a spinning rod and reel and spend half a day walking and casting in moving water for brown bass. If I am after green bass in still waters I’d want my pockets filled with 5” GYCB Senko in a green color.

Every day carry knife...
Like a bunch of you guys I have over 50 knives, I’ve never thought to count them. I bought this Spyderco Para 3 bout 4-5 years ago when it was first released. It is one of 4-5 I carry regularly. I am currently debating buying the coated blade lightweight version of it. I recommend their knives especially the USA made models.

Best way to tell what makes the difference?
Put 5 of us here using the same lure together and we will all fish it somewhat differently. Many years ago, a friend and I parked along side a stretch of River, he went upstream and I downstream using same balsa jerkbaits, same reels rods and line. When we met back up he was saying how it was a bad day and they just wouldn’t bite. In that two hours I had caught 16 or 18 on the jerkbait.

Fenwick lipless baits
I think made by Yozuri? I’ve heard good things about them and I’ve meant to add some to my collection but haven’t came across a good deal when I’ve had play money. If he has half a dozen of these I’d love to see what else he has! Take plenty money and chk out what he has.

Now I know why bass numbers have declined.
Can someone link me to the story of the Amazon River fish caught in Florida? I found a story from 4 days ago of an Aripaima washed up dead with a hook still in its mouth. Thanks

That noggin nockin works, I’ve cracked many a venison’s head finishing em off caveman style but I have removed postage stamp size patch of fur from the head of a bobcat once too and I’ve found best to be a small piece of lead say 36 to 40 grain moving around 1200 FPS give or take and applied to the upper thoracic cavity of the menace ur neutralizing to be optimum. Skunks are bad dudes!!
