Steve if your going to be fishing tournaments I see your only options would be to either get extra set of batteries for the trolling motor (Lithium) or use a generator. You don’t want to be thinking about saving battery life while fishing in a tournament.

I completely agree with @Jig Man. I run straight Suffix 832 braid or 832 to Seaguar gold label fluorocarbon. That way I can adjust the fluorocarbon size to different fishing techniques.

I run birds on my boat and I would recommend Lakemaster on a Humminbird. I run smart strike version of Lakemaster but I fish different lakes. If you concentrate around your area Lakemaster northeast version would suite your needs.

I use secret lure stupid tubes. I use their 4/0 HD for their 4.2” normally 3/16 or their regular 3/0 1/8 or 3/16 for their 3.2”. If you go to their website they have plenty of videos to show you the proper way to rig.

Like @Woody B said the BMS system on your top quality lithium batteries won’t allow them to over charge. As I said I’ve been running a Ionic 125AH for almost 3 years and everything is all good.

That’s odd. My Skeeter dealer installed mine. Ionic has Yamaha and Mercury approval to use on their motors.

I run the Minn Kota precision but if you’re going with 5 bank you can’t run a 36v battery. You’ll need a separate charger for the 36 volt. You’ll need a 2 bank for your starting and house batteries and a single 36 V for the TM. I run all Ionic lithiums. 3 for TM and 1 for starting and house on my Skeeter with a 250 sho. No issues at all going on 3 years.
