If i ever need to purchase another car i would seriously consider another 2004 civic as there are used ones for sale all over the usa. I just dont want or need a brand new car with all the computer chips and gadgets.

Back from our Chicago trip. 2004 1.7 litre 4 cylinder 125 hp Honda civic drove from my driveway and back 1,555 miles. MPG was 39.6 using 39.2 gallons costing me $157.22. Cheapest gas 87 octane was in Eau Claire Wisc in town at $3.76. Green bay Wisc cost $3.88. Most expensive was in my hometown of fargo nd at $4.18. I didnt buy gas in chicago so no idea of price as i wasnt looking.

The thing you shouldnt do is rest your back for more than 48 hrs. If and when you find out if its a badly herniated disk you may need surgery but alot of times a strict back stretching routine and back strengthing routine can fix the problem. I survived two L5-S1 back surgeries where the doctor trimmed the disk of the herniation. The1st back operation was done in 1991 in new jersey by my companies insurance company dr, he did a bad job and left a part of the herniation rubbing my nerve. The following operation was done in 1992 exactly a year later by a well known dr at the university of minnesota hospitol. Now today i do yoga everyday for my lower back and upper back even while on vacation in chicago and greenbay wisc i am doing my yoga in the room. It is a must that you stretch as an operation alone isnt guaranteed to get you 100% painfree but stretch and weight train your back and you will be surprised on the results. Remember this yoga and strengthing has to hapen on a regular basis or nothing will be gained.

I dropped my wife off at the Philippine embassy in chicago and due to non existant parking i would drive my car around different blocks and then park next to no parking signs and put my flashers on. All commuters do this as they then run into a store to buy food or pick something up. Anyway i parked on this one street at the no parking zone and just looked up and across the street i seen this sign, couldnt believe what i was seeing so i jumped out and took a picture. This was just pure luck to happen to park there.

forget about getting a response from pure fishing pflueger, if you need parts look at the pure fishing website you were allready on and look for the service center nearest you or any service center you want and they will order the parts for you. I used the service center in missouri and recieved my impossible for me parts to find within 2 weeks from date of order

Wife and i are on our way to chicago then greenbay wisc. for packers training camp. We left fargo nd. in the rain and stopped in Eau Claire Wisc for the night. Driving in the rain i really enjoy as it adds a measure of excitement with the tractor trailors bombarding your windshield with geysers of water. Rained all the way to eau claire. The 2004 honda civic with a 1.7 litre 4 cylinder got 40 mpg. Paid for refill at $4.05. Drove from eau claire to Beloit wisc in the sunny heat and filled up and got 41mpg, paid $4.00 gallon. When we were driving on interstate around the wisconsin dells area and madisson wisc the wisc drivers flat out were some of the worst i have driven with. Speed limit is 70mph but more like 85 for many of them and their lane changes were quick cut infronts and i would say the distance they keep between each other maybe 1.5 seconds which caused at one point a accordian collision where a pickup got rear ended by a small sedan causing the accordian kneejerk brake check reaction. I kept my distance well back of the vehicle in front of me and kept it a 68mph.

My tackle box is always organized before i even leave the the last spot i fished. If it is 10:30 pm i will kneel down and with my headlamp on put all unbroken lures in their spot, broken lures, chewed up snelled jigs, leaders get thrown in the everything bucket and get repaired during the week.

Agreed about bending the hook. My deal is fishing the rivers and getting snagged on zebra mussels that are basically glued onto the rocks. I can get free only because the hook bent up 90 degrees from me hand pulling on the line, I will then bend it back normal and keep fishing. No name jigs from doing the same have come back to me with broken hook.

I did away with the allmighty split ring pliers and use my thumbnail and its working out for me.

Are you not afraid of mountain lions stalking you and jumping out of a tree? I spent 5 years livin in south san fran and hiked many trails up and down the coast. I also mined for gold in the sierras and my biggest fear always was gettin jumped on from a big mountain lion. I read the news and on local tv about all the people biking along the trails and they got jumped by a cat, a couple people died and others were able to fight the cat off usually if they had a person with them to actually beat it with their bike, rock or chunk of wood. When mining i always packed my 6 shooter on my hip or if i was in the water dredging it was close by on some rocks. I coudnt do what you did alone, i give you big props sleeping in a tent and going solo. I for sure would have brought some bear pepper spray and carried it on my hip. Update on my pflueger parts is that i recieved the handle and dust covers in the mail as promised by the store i ordered it from in missouri. With this store and the ability to recieve parts from them makes me feel alot better about pfleuger reels. I am not happy about the handle breaking but i am happy i was able to purchase a used one from this store for $6.00. Beats the heck out of a new handle going for $35.00 to 43.00 from online sites.
