Getting off to a decent start to Dec. making for another bass in all twelve months year. Years ago we would likely be in hard winter by now. I've been sticking with the ned lately. I prefer small blade baits and jerks but a lack of wind makes for less than ideal conditions. The bite wasn't real fast but I managed to get a couple chunks in the mix.

Today I caught my first 8" hudd fish... after over 100 hours fishing it over the years. I've caught fish on bigger baits but for some reason I could never get them on the traditional slow bottom crawl

Had my boss and his son over today . Primary goal was bream. The 2nd bream Alex hooked , as he had it almost to the dock , a bass clobbered the bream and he hooked the bass right in the corner of the

  • So I went fishing today, and caught a 9#. Scale bounced between 8-15 and 9-2, but let's call it a 9, shall we? NLMB trout eater.   Super slow rolling a 8" weedless on the bottom in about 15

@The Bassman Well done sir!

Last one looks like it’s pouting over being caught but probably nose angle pointing downward. 😂

@The Bassman: Heck, yeah, those are chunks!

Was gonna hit  this spot yesterday but got there and it was still 90% skimmed over, back today was wide open  fished for a little more than an hour before work only got  1 bite. Weighed in at 4-7 on a jerkbait.

Boys, those are some HAWGS y'all throwing down this fine day!

It was slated to rain all day.  Now it's not. It's going to be 70° and it's been steady warming three days.

Hoping to join y'all on the board later!  I'm excited.  Can you tell?  😎😂🎣

I've been staring at the weather forecast since waking up and trying to think of a way to get my 6 yo to beg Mom for us to go fishing 😎

Pretty okay day on the water yesterday. High was 41, same as the water temp. Probably 75ish fish caught, mostly largemouth but several wipers, a few drum, and a couple whites. Big bass was 21", 5.82lbs.

@Bluebasser86: Your fourth fish and your biggest bass are sooo fat. Meanwhile, we're getting five to eight inches tonight. At least our winters are beautiful.

Pretty sure the big one was indulging on the freshly stocked trout.

I bet you're right. I think your total catch was one of the best of the year at BR.

I could have easily surpassed 100 fish if I just wanted to catch numbers. A Ned rig was almost every cast but mostly small fish. I had an 11 minute phone conversation with my wife while the camera was running. I went back through the video and I had caught 17 while I was on the phone with her 🤣 I don't usually just leave it running like that so it was funny to watch how fast they were biting.

I love hundred-fish days. I've said many times that I love a busy boat and a hundred-bass day delivers that, but you had an even better day, i.e. quantity plus quality.

What a difference a day makes.  I was pleased with 5 yesterday in a 2 hour trip.   I had high hopes for today.  It's warmer, cloudy, southwest wind, and all kinds of stuff that should help the bite.   It took me almost an hour to get the skunk out of the boat.   I ended up catching 3 in 4 hours.  I only got 2 pictures.  I caught the 2nd one I caught on a Bandit 300.   I was holding it by it's belly when I removed the trebles.   After removing the lure it slipped out of my hand, back into the lake.  It wasn't big,  maybe 14" at best.   The first one was 14", the last one was 12".

That one had a spinal injury I think, it was pretty humpbacked.

Biggest and smallest bass today with the B Viper 8. Awesome day. Schoolies working bait in deep grass around the boat docks. Got a bit excited watching them eat and setting the hook too soon. Couldn't believe how small the little guy was eating a bait that big

Fished my close to home lake yesterday and knew it was gonna be a challenge to get bit after seeing the ramp and conversing with a Ranger. The lake was being dropped for dock/seawall repair. They drop it 3' a day for two days and the fish never seem to be happy.

I found the bait, but the bait was everywhere with few fish around. Hit a bridge where the current was pulling hard and caught a couple on the bottom with the spoon in 26'. Found my third on a tiny rock pile in 18' off the side of a roadbed With a wobblehead Sukushi bug.
