Well... It IS a Megacash!

Two new rod builds purchased last week. ($179 and $120) I can stay away from BPS and Cabela's, I just can't stay off the web. and I KNOW I'm gonna need a couple of new reels for 'em. TW, here I come (with a monkey on my shoulder)

 

I can relate.... TW, BPS, Cabelas, and Gander are my tackle monkeys, and will come back to bite me in another way: my daughter wants (she says 'needs')a Macbook Air.  She'll hit me with "you can buy all kinds of fishing stuff, but not buy me a new computer for christmas !?!?!?"  Tough argument to win, and typically, I'll find the cash and Santa will make her squeal with joy like a teenage girl (which she is).

 I ordered some Maxima Ultra Green mono in 5 pound test (for finesse bass fishing) and 1 pound test for my brother for pan fishing.  I see a lot of talk about people moving down to six pound test for bass (I use six pound Sufix mono for bass) but haven't tried anything lighter than six pound mono.  So instead of dropping down to four pound I thought it would be fun to get some Maxima Ultra Green in five pound and try it out (next spring).  

I spent $150 on fishingskirts.com yesterday. 3 packs of weedguards, the rest was all skirt material. Been a busy fall with the local tackle store keeping me cranking out baits.

Savage Gear Slide Swimmer, Evolve Soul 5 Souljerk 115 Deathdrop, Evolve Soul 5 Flatsider 75, Duo Realis jerkbait 120SP and some VMC 4X Spark Point trebles for the swimbaits. Hopefully be giving them a test run Friday

I caved and got one of the Kanan Relic Fatty swimbaits in golden shiner on their BF sale of 30% off.

It is far from my normal type of presentation but for $13 shipped I couldn't not buy it. They seemed to be out of just about everything.

Just recently I picked up a new Curado 200I, absolutely love the reel... Now I just need a rod to put it on haha. I also got some various terminal tackle and some sunline fx2 and fluorocarbon. I also made my first Siebert order and got some of the new gridiron football jigs and some dredge brush jigs.

Anybody want to buy my 7'2" MHXF crucial? I'd give someone a good deal on it. It's a great rod but I need either a Dobyns cranking rod in my life and I only have so much space- I have too many XF rods. Someone help!

Well Friday spent $200 on cranks and jigs since I had a gift card. Sunday, Siebert jig order of about $50, and then another $250 on some other tackle that I may need for upcoming events....well all of it was for upcoming events.  Now I just need to order the bag to carry what I need and a bag to carry everything that I may need as well.  

I haven't bought anything in a couple of months, but I am making a Christmas list. I can't believe how long it is. Once I started adding items to it I couldn't stop. If I don't get a lot of gift cards as presents I am going to be broke.

The TW black friday sale got me...

 

Didn't spend as much as I thought I would, but still spent around $350

So today I was at my desk and I heard a "Hiiiiyah!" and everything went black. I woke up with my face on the keyboard and a banana peel next to me with this in my shipping queue.

 My order from Maxima came today.  A big box for only two spools of line.  lol.  They did send me a free hat though (I think because they shipped it over Thanksgiving weekend).  Anyway, I'll be trying this five pound Maxima line for bass fishing in the spring of 2015 and see how strong it is.  

 

 Also got a bunch of stuff from my Bass Pro Shops in the mail a few days ago.  I mostly wanted some mojo weights so I can do some Mojo rigging.  They had them so I ordered two packs.  Plus some screw in weights and worm rattles.  Also got 7 1/8" Stick-O's that I can't wait to try out spring 2015.  One pack of Culprit ribon tail worms in grape shad.  Funny thing - I see Culprit for sale at the local Walmart stores around here but all the colors are odd colors and nothing basic like Watermelon or Grape.  So I bought these in Grape Shad.  

 

 Also received some V&M Wild Lizzie lizards and finally some Gene Larew Tattle Tail worms.  

Snug as a jig in a rug... Got my Siebert's order today, AWESOME! The quality of these jigs are Quality 1. The ones on the right are Arkys in Blue Craw and Black/Blue. The ones on the right are swim jigs in Bluegill, Sunfish and Bumble bee. Now to start ordering some of those fancy Cosmic Spinner baits... MONKEY GET THE BANANA OUT OF MY BRAIN!
