Call TW, their customer service is top notch.

I order backordered stuff from TW all the time.  They ship when they get it and never charge me (though I never get expedited shipping - just the free ship.)  The date they ship the backordered things is almost always earlier than the projected date.

Strangely, anytime I order something that's on back order at TW, they never ship it to me. I don't get billed either, so it's not that big of a deal I guess. 

You can get a Tatula CT 100HS on Ebay for 76 bucks after the memorial day code right now. I'm tempted.

Looks like some of the memorial days sales are starting to happen judging by my inbox.

I don't know if anybody like Columbia PFG stuff, but I was able to get a bunch of stuff marked down at their website.

I have like five or six of them. I just bought one for $15 bucks when it was supposed to be like $25.

Wish they had the pants with the zip off legs on sale. Had a pair a long time ago and they were awesome in the boat, just can’t justify paying 45 for them at farm and fleet.

They can be very pricey, but when they on sale, I buy as much as I can and stock up on everything.

zip off pants were on sale at cabelas for like $22. Cabelas brand. I have 2 pair, one is the more expensive pair and I like them.

I had a whole big order ready for TW.... my first actually. I normally order from TSD because they're local. But I don't think I can pass up a tatula for $76 ? who wants a slightly used casitas?

Well bought the tatula for $78 off of eBay last night while having an adult beverage or two. Was hoping to get 15% of a St. Croix mojo bass at TW, but it’s excluded. Guess that’s the way it goes.

Call TW and they will honor the discount

Called TW as I wanted to make sure I could get my military discount. They said I need to send a copy of my military ID, which is illegal. Last night I sent them my pay stub and used my military e-mail. The lady today and the email said they only except a copy of a military ID. Not breaking the law for them.

 

So I guess I won’t be doing any business with them. Is there any other sites beside the big box stores that are good this Memorial Day weekend.

Yes! Tackle supply depot (they're local to me, so I prefer them even though the selection is a *little* smaller) is doing a 15% of memorial day sale. I don't know off hand if they do a .mil discount though. 

 

Also thanks for the heads up. I just canned my shopping cart at TW and started one up at TSD.

So I guess I’m going to receive a military discount after all with TW. Sorry to make a fuss over it. I feel as I get older I have a hard time dealing with dumb stuff. I wish they had the military verification like most legitimate businesses.

I few places offer public safety discounts... it's often a headache to jump through all the hoops. ID me is trying to come up with a uniform centralized system but it's not catching on very fast ?

Ordered the ALX ZOLO 7'1" Med/Hvy Deputy for $178.50 after the 15% off at TW. Totally forgot to add the $5 off coupon tho. Ahhh well. 

 

Hope this rod is as good as advertised. Have never held an ALX before.
