PREP4SUMMER is an ebay code until tomorrow.  Since Ebay doesn't sell ammo - pretty sure that's not the code you're looking for.

For everyone that orders from Acadamy, help me understand if I am getting what I ordered or some extra baits. My order initially showed as shipping in two boxes, one lure in one and the other four in the second. Since then I got an email that another package was shipping with a second of one of the two traps I ordered. Then today I got another email that a second set of two poppers were being shipped. 

 

Are their shipping emails just goofy, or am I getting extra baits shipped to me? Of course me being who I am would probably let them know they goofed up lol. 

I got 5 shipping notices. I didn’t check what was being shipped on each email but I heard they are shipping them separately from different locations

All I can say is just check carefully what comes in.  Frankly, I really love Academy and will continue to buy from them.  But, in the excitement of the Great Plopper Sale of 2018, they actually short shipped one bait in one of my many boxes, and I had to call for a replacement.  In short, the boxes appear to be filled by humans. Or maybe robots.  Somebody capable of making mistakes.

More than likely they are using multiple shipments to complete your order. I ordered 2 different items and got them in 3 separate shipments. Not sure how they stay in business with all those extra shipping costs but I love their prices.

Dang, they don't have any of the models I need. I have a 7'3 MH jig/worm rod and it's awesome, VERY well balanced.

I received the email as well, and I had just told myself I am done buying rods for the year.

With the eBay code today I snagged a Daiwa Luvias 3000H for 130 bucks shipped. Kinda ridiculous.

I'd pull the trigger on the 7'3 med-heavy jig/worm rod, but it isn't fast action. It's regular. Anybody have any experience with these rods? Is Daiwa's regular action faster than others?

Looking at this further, I think that have the wrong info listed. The model # of that rod is that of the 7'3" med/heavy fast action. 

 

Also, on Daiwa's official site there are no Zillions listed. Are these being discontinued I wonder?

I just ordered the same rod. I have the 6'9 ML/R Tatula and I use it for poppers and jerkbaits. It's not like a crankbait regular blank, it's more like a moderate fast bend.

 

I've been using a the 6'10 MH/F Tatula as my all around rod, and have been primarily throwing 4.8" Keitechs with 3/8oz jigheads/underspins and love it, but I think the "regular" blank might be even better to keep them pinned, I've lost just a handful on the 6'10 when they headshake. I'm going to make this 7'3 rod my primary spinnerbait/chatterbait rod paired with a Tatula Type-R.
