My absolute most fun lure to fish is........ my Booyah Pad Crasher Frogs. The most fun that I have on a lake or pond is throwing my frog into the thickest of lilys or grass and bringing it through the holes and to the edges anticipating that splash!!!!  Whats yours?

Pretty much any top water. I also enjoy swimming a jig or spinner bait around wood

No doubt a daytime surface bite is a ton of fun.

But for me, the allure of dragging a beefy jig around deep structure At Night, is strong.

And feeling that sharp and sudden Thump of a bait stopping strike, - the brief second right before setting the hook, the anxious anticipation of feeling the rod load up & the weight of a stout bass - is just about the top of the list for me.

nothing wakes me up like a hard jig bite

Any surface lure is fun.

Frogs and any topwater for sure are #1 on the fun factor.

#2...........for me at least is a silver buddy style blade bait...........lift.....fall............lift..............fall............go to lift again and there's something on. The bites on these baits 99% of the time take me by surprise as I am often letting it fall on completely slack line. Once in while you'll see the line "tick" but more times than not you won't. And it's always an adventure to see what's on the other end. Most of the time it's a good smallmouth, but I have caught plenty of good largemouth, pike, and walleye on them too.

I'll agree with surface lures. Most fun I've had
is with a frog and a jitterbug.

Top water at night.

Pad crasher is my favorite lure hands down.I can fish that thing all day long.Close second are swim jigs and a trailer.

Any topwater bite is a ton of fun but the jig bite is a close 2nd to me

I bought four of these silver buddies before I went to Dale Hollow Lake and came back with only one in the tackle box...lol    I had high hopes on hooking a smallie on one but I must have found too much under water cover. Theres three in the bottom of the lake now

Lipless baits. Easy to chuck and wind and just about any fish in the lake will grab them.

Top water hands down the best for me, next would be a senko

Fishing frogs in the slop and around docks.

buzz bait or a spook

Blow ups on spook type baits or most any topwater is definitely fun. I like the anticipation of pitching a chunk of plastic into the slop and feeling that big thump though.

Top water when they are schooling using a prop bait with a small leader with a small hair jig behind it.

Hands down it's a fluke.  I love fishing them and getting them to dart around, I love how versatile they are, I love how weedless they are, I love how well they cast and skip, and I love seeing one disappear a split second before I feel the pull.  I love them so much I had a spinning rod made just to fish them.

Skitter Pop or Skitter Prop before sunup on a dead still air, thick fogged water surface, but I just like the bite in general.

Its gotta be a finesse tube on my homemade jigheads in the local river.  I got a new kayak this year that I can stand up in (F&S shadow caster) and I love being able to see structure, cast to that target, and get bit.  I absolutely slayed them with the tubes this year.

.... Of course that will always come second to a good frog bite.. nothin beats that haha.

For me it's any walking bait, any time.

Specifically: SK KVD sexy dawg, Rapala skitter walk, and Heddon one knocker.

Poppers are a close second, especially at night, but still second place, because I get restless on the pause.
