Two weeks ago my wife wanted to put the Christmas tree up, she said she was excited for our first Christmas in the new house. I put my foot down and said no way not until after Thanksgiving.

It’s been up 14 days now. ?

I remember when Thanksgiving decorations went up in the stores the day after Halloween. Now you can't find Thanksgiving decorations anywhere and Christmas stuff goes up.

(sarcasm on)Thank you retailers everywhere for deleting a holiday.(sarcasm off)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Are you going to bring a pole and some lures so you can troll off the back of the boat?

Ain't got no real with that much line ?

The view from my “office” today. And for you southern folks, yes, that is ice all over the lake ( although not enough to be safe to fish on just yet ).

Idk how long ours has been up, but over a week now. Just 8 more days til Thanksgiving!

Going through some old pictures, found one I snapped of the pond I caught my PB swimbait fish out of, and yes this is almost the entire pond in the picture. You never know where you'll find big fish living if you don't try.

Yep my lake has been completely froze over for almost two weeks now. The ice earlier this week before this warm up was around 3 inches thick, not quite safe enough for me.

If you see Jack and Rose on board, get off quick!

Doesn’t look like he’s missed a meal in a while. I don’t think he’ll have a hard time staying warm this winter.

Nope ~

He's been seen dawn & dusk two days in a row - they removed the feeders today.

I take mine in after Labor Day - Turkeys hammer them hard after that.

He's getting stupid wondering up on their back deck - despite their dogs losing their collective minds.

Pretty bold - I think they're waiting a day before they call the DNR - hoping he goes night night.

Estimated him at 400 lbs give or take.

We had one do that to our feeders last year, in December with almost 2’ of snow on the ground. And last week while deer hunting, there were bear tracks all over the place in the bush, I even had one come running right at me. I had to yell at him three times before he finally turned away from me, at about 10 yds. I was about a 1/4 second from squeezing the trigger on that one. I’ve never seen so many bears still awake this late in the year before, especially with the early, cold, snowy falls we’ve had the last two years.

So which one are you buying him?

Won't be a Tracker...LOL  Today was the first time he and I spent a day together, out of the comforts of home, without the women. I had a passing thought that I wouldn't need to sell the Lund. That I could take him fishing without them tagging along.

Going to be a full house come Thursday and everyone gets their own can. Spam turkey smothered in cranberry sauce, now that's the ticket!

I feel sorry for anyone coming to your house to eat for Thanksgiving. I think we need a yuck emoji for that mess.:lol-047:
