Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Okay, that might explain the flat tire I had that evening.

Beautiful picture. Suitable for framing.  Enjoy!!!

That's too bad.

Thanks! We really enjoyed it! My brothers live in Mississippi and brought 80lbs to Oklahoma and we had a big boil. I ate till I was about sick.

Leaving the job site yesterday and this little fella and his/her mom were at the end of the driveway when I drove past. I stopped right beside it, and it didn’t know what to do. Just stood there for a minute shaking in fear of the “big scary blue truck”, then took off after mom grunted at it a few times. Couldn’t have been more than a few days old, I doubt it was as heavy as our old house cat we have.

Finally found a good local butcher.
Meat is actually pretty tasty and thankfully it is not grass fed.

Forgot to ask if he had any fava beans and a nice Chianti in stock.

Little strange to see this masked marauder at the feeders during daylight.

Our dogs certainly thought so . . .

There’s no way we could keep our feeders out this long or they’d be bear treats. We usually take ours down as soon as it starts to warm up in mid to late March.

Unlike purple gallinules, the common gallinule is a very trusting bird.

This little fellow spent some time within 4 yds of our boat

Georgian Bay isn’t always “angry”. Of course it’s like this while I’m boating to work, if I was going fishing there’d be 6’ swells likely.

I hope he isn't paying you guide fees to get put on dinks...?

I'm hoping to get my grandson out this weekend to put him on some gills. Little guy is going to be 3 next month.

I dearly miss Georgian Bay, Lake Huron (as noted on my cover page),

and fully intend to revisit the French River basin before I cash out.

Although I’ve not fished the French, I’m only about a half hour from there. It truly is a wonderful piece of this planet to explore.

Not all raccoons are nocturnal, he probably got tired of not being able to find that bird seed after dark! Haha. The operate at low tide near the beach, we see them at noon in SC and FLA if the tide is right. Those jokers will steal ANYTHING
