Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

We have rattlesnakes, although they are rare. I run across what I would call rat or corn snakes annually as well as gartersnakes.

We have the Michigan rattler. It is very very rare. One killed a chocolate lab in my town about 12 years ago. Their venom isn’t strong enough to kill a healthy human, most it’s problematic for pets and animals.

@N Florida Mike, bluuuuuuuuhhhhhhh! East TN has no water moccasins and I couldn’t be happier about it. Any other snake will disappear but not that one!

It was near one of the ponds I fish in a big park with woods nearby. It was funny in a way because when I saw it I instinctively reached for my pistol- but I wasn’t wearing it ?.  It held its ground even with me trying to scare it back into the woods. I finally got a long stick and kept prodding it until it finally turned tail and took off. There were some kids around and I didn’t want them stepping on it.

I used to kill em on sight, but couldn’t find a strong enough stick to whop It with.

I saw a copperhead also in that county a few years ago, and they aren’t even supposed to be any in this part of Fl.

Copperheads we have plenty of but they aren’t half as mean as their cottonmouth cousin. We’ve got timber rattlers up in the mountains but they are very seclusive

A beautiful mid April day here in Michigan. ?

I guess if we aren’t allowed on lakes, I’d prefer winter stick around like it has.

If he stands on his tiptoes he's about 10" tall, and he's full grown!

My wife had the blues today, I imagine a combination of the day long rain and being stuck inside for so long. I did my best to try to cheer her up with a good dinner followed by a homemade S'mores pizza for dessert.

Stay at home, quarantine day. My first day of not fishing all day, since stay at home order.

Got home from work today and a nice box from Minnkota was sitting against the door. Finally got a tilt bracket for the Talon, now I don’t have to keep removing it to put it in the garage, and I can easily tilt it to give it a wash/lube every now and again. Only took about 30 min and some help from my ten year old to hold bolts while I tightened from the inside, and were all good to go.

Fishing 42 degree water is my Achilles Heel.

Got 3 like this today all on NEKO at choke points from the main lake.
