Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Haven't taken the dogs with me in quite awhile, but that ended Thursday. I thought I was going to have to roll Cassidee's head up in the window on the way to the lake. It was 39* but even when we hit 75mph on the interstate she was refusing to pull her head in the window, I think she needed some time out of the house pretty bad. Weather was chilly for me, but for a couple of Golden Retrievers I'm sure it felt great. She's in her twilight years, have to be careful lifting her in and out of the truck and boat so she doesn't hurt herself, but I'll keep doing it for her as long as she can go. Since she was a puppy she's been such a great fishing dog, and you can just tell how happy she is at the lake, even at the end of the day while I'm loading the boat up.

For 30 years there was a cinder block wall dividing the in/out driveways for the apartment complex next door to my store. A few months ago they tore it down. Took 2 weeks of demolition and listening to jackhammers to complete the teardown and another couple weeks to run electric, pour the median and build 4' square brick lampposts. Took her about 2 seconds to demolish the lampposts.

Image may contain: possible text that says 'Quarantine has turned us all into dogs. We roam the house all day looking for food. We are told 'no' if we get too close to strangers. And we get really excited about car rides.'

I know it’s Michigan and it’s still April but, COME ON MAN!

There needs to be a law in nature that states if you have a 70 degree day you can’t have anymore snow for at least 7 months.

We've had several days like this. 70o last week - two mornings of snow this week...usually melts off by the end of the afternoon.

Ah, the “joys” of spring in the North. At least we’re starting to get a splash of colour here and there.

Thankfully it’s all staying down by you and the Michigan boarder. We might see a dusting.

Almost stepped on this one today. Thankfully, I usually walk with my head down.

I thought your part of the country was too cold for them to survive.
