It's definitely skunk love season, the roads around here are littered with them.

Hahahah. People always wonder how they climb onto the roof, I say look for muddy paw prints . Of course then they say “I thought they washed their hands” ?‍♂️

One of my least favorite tasks at work, cleaning starling nest out of an attic. Got 7-8 garbage bags full 1-B262-C0-E-FE44-44-E1-AEB6-3-EB6-CAE33-

I grew up in an old farmhouse that was built in 1890. Those dang things came every spring and built nests in the overhangs every year! One was right outside my bedroom window. When I got old enough to hunt, I’d sit in the back yard with the 12 gauge and pepper em out of the sky as they flew out of the hole in the house. Finally after many years, my dad got around to redoing the soffit and facia, and they had to find some other poor saps house to cause a ruckus in.

I love setting a trap next to the  plastic owls that people think scare the animals away..

Ya - up here people put plastic owls and eagles on dock posts to 'keep the Canadian Geese' away and their docks free from goose-poop

Funny to see those same dock with a dozen or more geese wandering about, ignoring the 'scary' owls and eagles.

I’ve seen many plastic owls with great blue herons perched on top of them, leaving white uric acid streaks all down the owl.

this particular job they used the plastic figurine to scare away a carnivorous raccoon that feeds on birds…….. smart

I wouldn't be shocked if the owl works for a day or three but after that it's just a normal fixture that's always there and never a threat.  I don't know why people would expect it to continue to work.

The real winner is the owl manufacturer hahah. I swear everyone tries it

the bldg in the photo has had raccoons get in it for at least 5-6 years but the owl remains
