Well, I am about to head to the woods. I have always wanted to kill a big buck on my birthday. Unfortunately they aren't usually moving much this late in the season. But I try every year anyway.

I turned 54 in September. The old muscles don't respond quite like they used to...joints feel okay, except when I work a project for 12 straight hours around the house (office renovation). 

 

Stopped eating gluten about 5 years ago along with my wife (had to because of medical issues). Honestly say I feel much better. And recently stopped eating vegetable oils and dairy...again, feel much better. I've never smoked, drink very little...never tried any drugs. 

 

Hoping I can be as active as my 80 year old Dad who walks a mile every day...or his mom, my Grandmother, who lived to be 98. 

 

Either way I want to go out like my Grandpa on Dad's side...late 80's...got a little afternoon-delight with Grandma...rolled over to take a nap...passed away in his sleep.  Epic!

Geez, I just realized I just turned 42. When I was 32, it seemed like 42 was so far away, yet here we are. I will say though, my eye sight is headed in the wrong direction. LOL

 

I have a great wife, great kids, great job and thoroughly enjoy life. Hopefully I have a few more years in me.
