The only thing that sucks is she has never laughed at any of my jokes as she has ZERO sense of humor.

Maybe it's not the audience.....

Bath towels should be folded twice along their length and then rolled, there’s literally no other acceptable way to do this!

Sounds like you’re well trained?.

My wife used to be OCD about nearly everything. I remember one of the biggest fights we ever had was when she asked me to wash the towels on Sunday. ( Im thinking 9 pm because it’s still sunday. She’s thinking 4 was enough time. ) I think you can imagine the outcome of that one.

Another one involved one of my socks being left on the floor?.

I was shocked that she wasnt too angry after I somehow left the big freezer slightly open ( with all my dead shrimp and cut bait in there). The problem is, we went on vacation for 9 days starting a few minutes after I didnt shut the freezer!?

I could literally write a long book on this subject.
I have always done everything outside.  Until recently, I did nearly everything inside too, since my wife is semi- disabled. My daughter lives with us now, and shares cooking with my wife, and she does everything in the kitchen, and most of the cleaning.

I used to get irritated when first married by all the household stuff, because it cut into my fishing time and other pursuits.

I remembered my marriage vows and decided to do things that would make her happier and just love her unconditionally. When I changed and started doing more , she started changing too. We now get along great, and I can fish whenever I want without complaint. ( Unless she has plans,of course )

I check with the Admiral before I make fishing plans of an extended nature. She realizes when I am underfished.

That’s how you fold theatrical curtains that are taller than they are wide. The grunt work you do at the beginning of your career as a stagehand involves a lot of sweeping, a lot of mopping, and a lot of folding curtains.

Bath towels are taller than they are wide, so they should be treated the same way.

I grew up in a house where my mom did all the chores. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, etc.

She was always and still is physically fit while my father has “broken down” with age.

If for no other reason I do some chores just to stay in shape ??

Seriously though, I do chores because they have to be done. My wife and I both work full time jobs and divide the housework that needs to be done when we are home. It’s only fair.

Years ago when I was much younger, I started helping my wife with chores around the house. I still do this now. I realized that between the kids, laundry, dishes, and general housework, she was wearing herself out. She never complained, but she was always grateful for the help.                                The old saying" a women's work is never done" is 100 percent true.                                           And, here's a tip for you young newlywed guys: If you want your wife to be happy, help her out with these chores. After all, you live there too. You create your share of laundry, dirty dishes, etc. This is especially true if your wife works outside the home, and, you have young children. Trust me on this. Your wife will appreciate this help.                Do you agree? Do you help your wife with household chores?

HELP?!!

I am  CINDERELLA!  I do it all.  cleaning, cooking, etc.  I knew this going into my marriage and I am very fine with it.

I am more modern in thinking.  I dont assign gender roles to stuff around the house.  single dudes need to do it all.  they didn't get married to get a servant. (heck..maybe they did!)

my wife's superpower is making money.  she does the investments and savings.  hell, last night she stayed up into the night organizing our tax-stuff.  I am a rich (relatively rich) man because of my wife.

there is an old proverb in Chinese.."Half the sky....".

I cleaned off some shelves this morning……. It took me like an hour and a half! It was too cold to run a boat and my

guides would have iced over so I didn’t miss any fish. Felt good to throw stuff away though

I don't mind helping out with house work, as long as she gives me a break, by hanging out with the Bait Monkey looking at lure catalogues, and drinking beer.

I'm the cook at our house. Not that my wife can't, it's just that I like doing it so I do it most of the time. I do the dishes most often, take out the trash, while she does a lot of the picking up around the house and running the kids around. We both hate doing laundry so it's usually a team effort on Sundays to get all the laundry done. I run the weedeater and pushmower and she takes care of the rest with the zero turn. It's all a team effort but it's all moving parts and we both know that some days we have to do a little extra. Always seems to work out fine because we're never comparing who is doing more.
