Tom Brady Retiring

Featured Replies

He just made the announcement.  He's had a long and illustrious career.  He can retire with his head held high.

I suspect we'll see him in front of the camera next season.

Thoughts?

I told everyone I was watching the bucs v rams with that someone should drive a silver stake through his heart after the game was over just to make sure!

great player, won’t miss him

As my wife sits here sobbing (just kidding) my son has informed us of the news of Tom Brady retiring. As a lifelong Chicago Bears fan the only thing I need next is to hear Arron Rodgers is heading to the AFC division and my weekend will be complete?.  All kidding aside it will be sad not seeing Tom Brady surgically pick apart opponents but as much as I respect and enjoy watching Arron Rodgers I seriously would be happy seeing him in the AFC.

My wife informed me a wee bit ago that the news of Tom Brady’s retirement may be a wee bit premature ?.  Seriously that’s crappy as it shifts the focus from tomorrow’s games which I’m definitely looking forward to ?

No description available.

ESPN gets it wrong again haha.

He’s still probably going to retire but I’m sure he’d rather do it on his terms and not ESPN’s.

He's certainly been an amazing athlete and without question, the G.O.A.T.

He was probably talk on his phone saying “I need a new tire” and someone heard I NEED TO RETIRE.

Neither the GOAT himself or the Buccaneers have indicated that he’s retiring yet.

I’ll wait until I see that official announcement. Until then, it’s nothing but a rumor.

Just read an article that says Tom loses $15 million of his $20 million signing bonus

if he retires before Feb 4th.

I’m sure that has a lot to do with him saying he’s still “uncertain.”

Bet he’ll have his mind made up after the direct deposit goes through.

Where there's smoke there's probably fire, but it would be great if he was on the fence and then this being leaked motivated him to play one more year on a farewell tour. First it was a supreme court justice being told he's retiring and now it's the GOAT... sad people so badly want to be the ones to break a story that they jump the gun instead of having the class to let someone announce their own huge decision.

If it was his last year he went out in epic GOAT fashion with one of the best seasons in the history of the league:

5316 yards (3rd most ever) and 43 TD's (10th most ever)

Or Montana.

Always enjoyed watching Brady play.

Always a class act.

Now to open the door for another quarterback to take his place, which will not be easy.
