Ya, I’m aware. I was referring to NFL, not NCAA. That’s what this thread is about.

I don't follow football anymore (HUGE baseball fan) so I don't have a prediction.

But I saw an article that Mickey Guyton, Jhené Aiko, and Mary Mary are the performers at the Super Bowl this year.

I have no idea who any of those people are.

With that, I'm feeling especially old tonight.

You saw an article written by someone who doesn't have a clue what's going on. This years halftime show is Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J Blige. Not for everyone, but I will love it.

BTW, that might be some janky pre-game show or something, I don't know.

What makes Joe Burreaux great is not his physical attributes, it's his mental attributes. He understands defenses, how to read them quickly, make adjustments quickly, & get the ball to the receiver accurately.

I'll be perfectly honest.  I normally hate the halftime show.  I'm there to watch the actual football game, not the commercials or halftime show.  Those are the time periods when I get up to use the men's room or refill my beverage lol.

However, I may actually tune into the halftime show during this super bowl.  I used to listen to a fair amount of music made by Dre, Eminem, and Snoop back in the day.

The playoffs have been the best ever, but all my favorites lost!

Super Bowl 56 will be more relaxing for me with no dog in the

hunt.

Same here.  But I would like to see Shooter McPherson with a walk off 60 yarder.

Ha ha, that McPherson is a confident kid and so is Burrow.

Unbiased football fan here so just gonna sit back and enjoy the game.

Have to laugh at the wife every year. She looks at teams uniforms before kickoff and makes her prediction. Which ever appeals to her.....they're winning. Lol

I would argue that Burrow has a much better team around him too.  The only high quality player that Stafford has really ever had with him over the course of his career in Detroit is Calvin Johnson.  They never had a good defense and other than Megatron, they never had a high quality receiver.

The Bengals rise has obviously correlated with the arrival and development of Burrow.  His stats are not eye popping though.  Their defense is pretty good.  Their offensive line is top 5 in the league.  Mixon has had a career season without any injuries.  J'Marr Chase might win rookie of the year.

Stafford has everything he needs to succeed with the Rams that he never had in Detroit.  Most notably, a quality defense.

Agree with most everything you say, but I couldnt get past the offensive line being top 5?? Their line is horrendous. Which makes what burrow is doing even more impressive. Only QB to ever win a playoff game while getting sacked 9x.

Maybe you should have that checked out.

Along the lines with several others, I've no horse here.

My favoring leans to Rams for the sake of Stafford getting

the One Ring. He's a real talent and suffered so long in

Detroit.

But Joe Cool the Second is a cool cat. I prefer Josh Allen

get his ring before him, but I wouldn't be upset if not.

You can take a pass on this year's halftime show. '90s hip-hop is just old rap.
