I like it.  I just have not figured if it's a solo op, or if open to others' random musings.....it's kind of like this corner of BR is the boxcar for @LrgmouthShad' spray can

I guess the best way I can describe my intent for this thread is just to vocalize what I was thinking when I created the thread: “Let’s just see what happens”

Nope - what's not already hard-water on Tonka is just open spots in the middle of the hard water.

I even saw some guys on the ice on Emerald Lake today.

About to be on holiday leave starting tomorrow. I’ll have several days off here in MO and then I’ll be in NC through the holidays. Maybe one of the few times I’ll get a leave like this. Hope to take advantage by getting a decent amount of fishing in without straining my shoulder too much. Thinking of bringing out the ol Jon Boat so I don’t have to paddle and fishing on Shearon Harris or something.

Should be lots of fun!

Made up a batch of homemade biscuits. Black Sabbath playing on the TV. Going to make French Onion soup for dinner. 30 degrees outside.

Haven’t posted in a while but a couple weeks back I saw an armadillo

There’s been a dead raccoon on my overpass exit off I-45 north of Houston for about 4 months. There are more vultures per square mile here than I’ve ever seen in my life. Something must be really bad with that coon.

Been a long time since I posted here but seeing as I posted some chess stuff in the past, I am very proud to say that I’ve reached a rating about 1400 for rapid. I’ve improved quite a lot over the past several months.

I have some songs that will instantly take me back in time and revive old feelings. I wonder if that’s why older folks seem to often listen to the music they grew up with.

I can listen to a song and remember driving back after catching my PB.

Can listen to another and remember prom night

Can listen to another and remember heading to go out fishing in early fall NY on my magic Menderchuck ponds.

Me too but they don’t permit

music in the jail anymore.

In another universe I’m pretty sure I’m married to that lady working the gas station register

Strikes at the waters edge are just nature popping the toast out at you. Except bass

who stole andy reid's gravy boat, and then returned it in the second half

I am nature pilled/fishing maxxed, I will go to the man made lake and catch the non-native species with bits of plastic. So much cheese in my pockets they called me a calzone. I have a go kart made of pickles, Chuck. Chuck, tomorrow I will ride to Paducah on a chicken made of steak, chuck. How many fingers am I holding up? Tell me, before the next red eye shad dies

The last thing I remember is seeing something about fiberglass vs composite vs graphite rods, but now I'm reading the @thediscochef's steak chicken song...which IMO works best if you read it in the style of a George Thorogood song. Did I pass out? How did I get here? 🤣

I think @Fishlegs was in the garage cleaning engine parts with gasoline and the garage door down 😂

You know it's bad if the parts start talking back to you.

Maybe so. If that's the case I'm just thankful @thediscochef put a Thorogood song on there instead of a ballad. I might've lit a lighter and blown the whole place up! 🤪
