Howdy folks!

Getting back into freshwater fishing after a 30 plus year hiatus. I lived in Naples for 32 years, and fished mostly saltwater.

We moved onto a nice lake in central Florida, with very little fishing pressure 3 years ago, and I've rediscovered the joy of bass fishing. I mostly fish from my beach in the backyard during cocktail hour with my wife, but also fish from my kayak every so often.

My main rig is a spinning rod with senkos, usually texas rigged, but when that's not getting results, I'll wacky rig them. I have a couple of baitcasters I use for topwater and more active type baits, but I've gotten my most consistent results and biggest fish with the senkos. Flukes are pretty good too, but I usually catch smaller ones with those. When the little guys are harassing bait on the surface, I have a few ultralights set up and they're fun to catch.

I'm looking forward to learning more about different techniques and tackle from you fine folks.
