What are your favorite nicknames for big bass.

PhishLI calls them "goblins," which always makes me smile.

Dave Mercer, the Canadian YouTuber, calls them "big ug" and "triple sow cow," which also make me laugh.

An oldie, but goodie, is toad, which really coneys how the blubber of a big, ol' gal goes every which way.

What are yours?

@A-Jay I've heard you say "mutant" in your vids more than once too.

I like toad for smallmouth and pig or hawg for largies.

Slobbasaurus is from John Gillespie's Waters & Woods show.  Heard that enough times from him and "get the frabill!"

I called the last one I hooked, an S.O.B. as it wrapped my line around a tree, and stole my popper.

Yea - Been so long since I've been able to actually hold one, I forgot about that one.

I will admit that I can't say thanks for reminding me though . . . .

I've been known to call the ones I lose - many multi-syllabic terms that end with "er" ?

I've heard walleye anglers call largemouth "green carp" more than once too.
