The software will automatically mark posts in high traffic threads. It isn't always about the content. I used to have to approve many of my own posts when I was a mod here.

I get it from time to time even with 1000+ posts. Best I can tell for me its just a spam filter sort of thing, but I imagine that Post Approval has many uses

Dude, I still get it now and then with 13k+ posts...I think it runs on a random number generator.

Lately it’s become common to see the “pink” post needs approval and at first didn’t know what was going on?

I wish I had this vetting feature for everything I say,  not just things I post here.

I only have 2 things to say.

1.  I didn't mean to say it, but I meant what I said.

2. If you can't say it nice, say in nice and loud.

My last vetted post had the words "big one"  in it. I guess that was it .

Vetted?  That’s what I tell people when my wife takes the dog in to have his scent glands expressed.  Isn’t that basically the same thing?

I don't know what the parameters are to flag a post. I assume mine are flagged all the time. And IBJ, you're tame here. Life isn't always all or nothing. I reached out to you and you were all or nothing there, but not at all here. Just saying. Here you're just nothing. Nothing at all. Fall in with the crowd. Be true to yourself brother. You broke your bridges elsewhere, why not here?
